20 is very short. I use to have 30 second ads for like 2 years then a couple months before I got an ad blocker on everything I had even 45 and 60 second unskippable ads

I just report every ad that isn't 5 seconds long or can be skipped after 5 seconds (very very very rarely there is advertisement that I actually might watch bit longer but 99.8% is gone after 5 seconds).

And either they give me one of those ads or I just keep skipping the ads by reporting them.

And if they force longer ads, then it's time for a custom browser on the phone for even less ad revenue for them.

And Google usually has comments disabled on their TVC uploads (maybe even all of their videos, I haven’t fully checked to confirm this), so we can’t see just how many comments this video would have generated from viewers who clicked on or searched up the ad, rather than the 1 million people who got it as a pre-roll YT ad.

DNS based ad blocking does not block video ads as they are served from the same servers as the videos. Youre using an adblock if youre not seeing ads on youtube.
