I have no idea what the vibe on this song is supposed to be the verses and chorus do not mesh at all the mixing / ai split vocals from wanna be me sounds like shit the production sounds like bnyx hitting random buttons in the stu and doesn’t match what he’s saying the theme of the song is uninteresting and the outro is the only good part yet doesn’t fit the mood of the rest of the song at all, what is dangerous about what hes saying or what relevance does it have? after hearing og wanna be me which is beautiful like that dark vibe with him talking his shit spazzing with his adlibs and the bells in the back im disappointed there’s definitely many more tasteful ways to put together old verses new choruses change production all that and have it mesh together artistically not throw shit together like a slop sandwich and call it tasteful experimentation im not a blatant adl hater either

Yeat has always teased his past with the alien story when he was young and lyrics mentioning being from outer space, even production styles and mentioning it in interviews it’s been a part of him but i think now he’s finally gonna make a project around that concept. of course the martian snippet is directly hinting on that but even the last song on adl being “up from here” (potentially up to space) is like a hint for the fans and if you listen it even sounds like elevator music at the beginning. I think it’s a fire idea and a really interesting concept that he could take a lot of ways and cocoon will show some elements of that and i’m not saying he needs to redeem himself but to get listeners interested again i think he knows he needs to drop some real bangers with a mix of his new style and his classic sound (snippets alr sound fire) but let me know what yall think
