Where should Project Ascension Refugees go?

Love swtor but only made it to lvl 30 or so because every regular enemy is a fucking bullet sponge that takes 3 rotations to kill, does it get better?

It depends on your class they are all very different some are really squishy and mainly used for support, maybe your companion wasnt set to damage? i usually set to tank/healer depends on the fight.
i done the Sith Inquisitor basically a lightning wizard and it was great the story was fantastic, only one i maxed to 80 but i enjoy it there is sooo much free content and its Star Wars•

Loved swtor, but it just feels too easy. And most killable NPCs just don't really do anything. No one has pathing, they all just stand there waiting for you to come and kill them. The gameplay loop was also a little... repetitive, I guess is the word. It was literally just - start a story mission/dialogue - move through boring enemies that don't do anything or die in a second - finish the mission - go back for a dialogue. Over and over and over.
I think if the combat was more difficult and engaging and didn't just feel like it was an obstacle to me getting to finish my class storyline I'd have more fun. But it is not enjoyable when I am just bowling over enemies with little worry about my well being.
It's a shame, because I legitimately think the jedi consular story is really damn good, and I know I'm like the only person in the world that thinks that haha. Also, obviously the Imperial Agents story is probably among the best.

there is really nowhere. Ascension from a technical standpoint was the best emu server out there and since it was a custom server and not just one of the endless legion of blizzlike clones, there really is nothing that is anywhere close to it available now. I mean, not even Blizzard was able to come close when they tried copying it.

Classic+ when it comes out. Minas well not let Ascension's sacrifice be for nothing.
I've also heard they had a deal with Blizzard, so some of their stuff may make it into classic+.

I started on Project Alterac over the weekend after the end of CoA. I have enjoyed it so far. It is a phased WotLK server. The level cap was raised to level 50 on Saturday. There is double-xp bonus to help catch up to current phase that can be toggled on / off at any innkeeper.

I tried Grimfall and immediately felt depressed because Ascension was too good. And yeah il never give Blizzard another $ so that's no option either. And OctoWoW doesn't have dungeon finder.... sooo I'm basically playing other games and NOT WoW anymore.... hopefully Ascension MMO is decent, so yeah Il be taking years away from WoW at this point

Triumvirate-WoW is quite fun.
Locked to 60, but raids from classic/tbc/wotlk are doable. "Random" order of raid release, currently doing ICC.

Grimfall from my experince was ok, but its so bare bones it honestly felt like playing season 1 again on ascention. Its fine i guess but honestly i would just wait a year with that and check back tbh. I imagine once it gets some updates it will be a bit more fun.
