If Russia got the fuck out of Ukraine that'd solve a lot of problems.

Not for Russia :D

Specifically not for Putin.

It would actually solve all of his problems.

Russia gotta talk big bc their big actions failed against a smaller country so now talk is all they got

I wonder if the Russians ever get tired of threatening everyone every single day.
''Ivan we have to send out another fifty threats today, get on it''
''Yes boss, let me just turn on BlyatГПТ''

Imagine if they decided to be decent for a second and stop destroying everything.

As a Finn it saddens me how much potential there would be in a friendly and more civilized Russia, but they just throw it all away. We'd both benefit massively from friendly relations.
But for now, I'll keep participating in military refresher training as I have before.
Edit: Then again, we have the best neighbor we could hope for to our West, so I suppose it compensates. ;) Our people haven't fought a single war against each other, which is quite exceptional in recorded European history. Not to say that there haven't been bumps in the road along the way.

To be fair.... we absolutely have and continue to fight wars. They just happen to involve a puck😏.
And we're lucky to have you guys to the east, and two wonderful western neighbours...... yes, even denmark.

Classic Swede, loose compliments in the wild and you think they fit your pockets. Norway of course has long been a supporter of independence in the region, whether from bears, elks or squirrels.
Happy to have Finland and Sweden as our closest neighbors and we have little room to complain, it could've been the Danes.

As a Canadian, it's so nice to hear friendly banter between neighboring countries.
I miss the whiskey war.

As a Russian, who grew up in America, but still has family over there....it pains me too. So many great things could come out of it if Russia just stopped being the aggressor.

Well, I suppose it’s what happens when you have a rich, corrupt madman in power who is a former KGB officer who controls an entire population through lies and fear.

Just as I were scrolling reddit, I found out that the explosion that woke me up at 4 am turned out to be a ballistic strike on school in my part of the city. Russia is a terrorist state.
•
u/Moontoya 9h ago
Tough talk for someone who's second city is within ballistic range.
•
u/kuroshiokai 8h ago
How many of those ballistic missiles are within range of conventional artillery, drones, and missiles from Norway and Sweden? NATO won a huge strategic W when Sweden and Finland joined.

And in response Russia has lined the Norwegian boarders with museum ranked artillery from 1905

News to me, last I was over that border in 2022 the Russian garrisons were ghost-towns.
•
u/macross1984 10h ago
Additional measures are necessary when Putin have proven by action he will be the aggressor NATO was created in the first place.

Russia - a country of vodka drinking alcoholic grandfathers and fathers from the 80’s and 90’s . Whole Ukraine war gives off small dick energy

Russia: "Why are you putting weapons at your border? This is a threat to us!"
Also russia:
“Let them prepare, but the outcome is inevitable,” he said, citing 2030 as a “relevant milestone” for Russia to attack NATO.

The west is at Putin's mercy, since they did little to nothing to stop him. Germany has terrorist acts on its soil, AfD elected and nobody does anything about it... Impotent leadership
•
u/wgszpieg 7m ago
What's Putin bitching about, then? He's scared of the weak, incompetent, and let's not forget, decadent and gay Europeans?

So, just another day ending in y.
