Running a smear campaign by… checks notes…. Sharing what he is doing behind closed doors.

Yeah, I am by no means a UEFA apologist, but FIFA needs to stfu and clean house

u/Big_Attention7227 1d ago

Sounds like it's time to take out the trash and remove the man with the name like a child's std.

u/sharksareok 2d ago

It's not an accusation, It's an obligation

u/kemicalkontact 2d ago

Infantino is a schmear

u/icebabyiceice 2d ago

My brother in Christ Gianni started the smear campaign

Uefa adding drama?

For the first time ever they are right pleas let them start drama and sack infantino

u/AlanOfTheCult 2d ago

Ah yes, because nothing says innocent than secretly setting up a scheme that will siphon tens of millions into your own account and openly bribing people to make it happen.

u/Whatsthatbro365 2d ago

Fifa the organization based in Switzerland answerable to no one just like the IOC. Wonder if they compare notes.

u/1009naturelover 3d ago

FIFA can say what they want now, but they cannot change the facts.

u/Timmy24000 3d ago

Infantino it’s getting what he deserves after teaming up with Trump and his family.

u/gash_florden 3d ago

Cheeky bastards!

u/BigBoyster 3d ago

"Infantino accuses UEFA of launching 'smear campaign against Gianni Infantino"

u/Twiddly-Thumbs 3d ago

He’s hanging around with Trump too much

u/burwellian 3d ago

If it's not true then sue them for libel.

Oh wait, you haven't? Hmm...

u/Defiant00000 3d ago

Fifa accuses? Lol good try gianni, apparently writing ex footballers press releases wasn’t enough🙄

Hope to never see the bald one and his white shoes again…

u/ChillMaggot666 3d ago

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

u/koniaki 4d ago

Nothing to smear, he’s doing great himself, don’t need help 🙃

u/temujin1976 4d ago

Smear shit on shit, it's still shit.

u/da8BitKid 4d ago edited 3d ago

Infantino is smeared because he's a self-dealing POS 💩. FIFA needs to on move from this pos, put him in the past like blatter.

u/zestful_villain 4d ago

Infantino smeared himself in shit with the greedy world cup and wanting to sell it out. uEFA just pointed it out.

u/arqelia 4d ago

VARgentina. FIFA princess

u/Acceptable_Task5780 4d ago

Attacking first doesn’t make you innocent! Nice try!

u/Limp_Classroom_2645 4d ago edited 4d ago

Nobody cares, UEFA is right

u/moon_nicely 4d ago

today I feel.... like a prat.

u/kevinnoir 4d ago

"...by pointing out the awful things he was doing to the public when it was supposed to be secret, how DARE the shine a light on Infantinos corruption"

u/Nutlob United States 4d ago

you can smear shit...but it's still shit

u/MarcusSuperbuz 4d ago

Kip digging fifa

u/MrGeek89 4d ago

FIFA is corrupt organization.

u/Secure-Tradition793 4d ago

Criticism is not smearing.

u/Pdsn 4d ago

Infantino is smearing himself, with human feces. Orange man feces.

u/Ludate_Solem 4d ago

Whomp whomp

u/dkcphman 4d ago

He is doing that on his own. With how he behaves.

u/Specific-Yam-2166 4d ago

The man gave the idiot of America a “FIFA peace prize”

u/fredaklein 4d ago

"fabricated and gave"
People who run FIFA are astonishingly corrupt. And they are shit.

u/TripMaster478 4d ago

It's not actually a smear campaign if the target is a complete piece of shit. Which. In this case. Is true.

u/abrknl 4d ago

Bullies, and friends of bullies, always end up playing the victim.

u/FlurpTheDerp 4d ago

It's hard to call it a smear campaign, when the person making the accusation is a massive pile of shit who uses his forehead to write his name in capitol letters on every wall he sees. Oh wait...

u/Sydneyfc1987 4d ago

The name "Infantino" is now synonymous with greed and corruption the world over.

I don't know how much more "smeared" he could get!

u/CoastCommercial1440 Spain 4d ago

Hy they did what are u gonna do about it corrupt boy?

u/actrak 4d ago

Pretty sure that Gianni Infantino is responsible for the smear campaign launched against Gianni Infantino.

u/Robynsxx 4d ago

LOL

u/BrockLanders365 4d ago

Fuck em. FIFA is one of the most corrupt organizations of all time. Too bad if they’re butt hurt by people speaking the truth.

u/SumoHeadbutt Portugal 4d ago

How Trumpy

u/Sad_Leg1091 4d ago

Infantino is far more effective at smearing his own reputation than any outside organization could hope to be.

u/Amesenator 4d ago

Telling the truth = ‘smear campaign’?

u/delaranta Brazil 4d ago

They’re ruining my reputation by listing the things I’ve done.

u/Parking_Resolution63 4d ago

Telling the truth is not smearing

u/Ninhau Portugal 4d ago

I think he did a pretty good job himself

u/Top_Elk5664 4d ago

the t$#+!p effect

u/-Dakia USA 4d ago

Of all the approaches, of all the tactics, of all the statements, this is the worst thing you could do. Absolutely picked the worst possible course imaginable and hit send.

u/Agadoom 4d ago

I hadn't realised a smear campaign was merely presenting publicly available information until today /s.

u/Embarrassed-Yak-5902 4d ago

It is if all the facts say that the person is immoral and only sees money like Mr. Krabs

u/BlueMetalDragon 4d ago

No "smear" required; it was all in the open.

u/Shot-Toe-2884 4d ago

UEFA’s history is not free from corruption, but goddamn FIFA (the most corrupt sports organization on the planet) needs to stop digging this hole.

u/Broad_Ad4176 4d ago

Hah, no, he did that himself.

u/RebelliousInNature Scotland 4d ago

Did it ALL yourself, Gianni. The peace prize debacle was cringeworthy of epic proportions. The red card interference. The attempted hijack of the World Cup for your own personal ends. The awarding of locations to questionable countries.

Gotta go, Infantino. Have you absolutely no shame?

u/MaNameIsMudD 4d ago

F thay guy. Why does he keep crying and complaining? 🤦‍♂️

u/JestFlamez 4d ago

Because he's an old rich man who now feels entitled to a position he no longer deserves to hold. And he's a twat.

u/Responsible-Part3982 USA 4d ago

Good…?

u/Kensei501 4d ago

He smeared shit all over himself that’s what happens to assholes.

u/Zieprus_ 4d ago

He launched the campaign himself through his actions.

u/Emergency-Watch5157 4d ago

How is this guy not fired yet?

u/UnobviousDiver 4d ago

Bribes being paid to enough members to keep him

u/BlueMetalDragon 4d ago edited 4d ago

Because he was appointed by election by the FIFA Congress. Only a dismission by the FIFA Congress, an overwhelming vote of no-confidence by the FIFA constituents, or legal action can remove him.

Edit: To be clear: I want him to be removed and FIFA to be reformed more fairly.

u/Revolutionary-Yam755 4d ago

A pile of shit is still shit when its smeared all over the walls

u/jstaobsrvr USA 4d ago

The truth now amounts to a smear campaign…that is the world that we live in.

u/Accomplished-Gas3209 4d ago

The smear Infantino faced was when he met with Diaper Don, a gross runny Depends leaking smear!

u/Key-Hurry-9171 4d ago

Cry me a river. And kick this Gianni out

u/InjuryIndependent287 4d ago

It’s not a smear campaign if it’s factual.

u/CamGoldenGun 4d ago

Infantino is doing a fine job of doing that himself, FIFA.

u/MeYouUsStories 4d ago

Gaslighting is now the modus operandi of all authoritarian bodies: be a country, an organisation, a corporation or a community.

They act dirty first and when there is a reaction they whine and blame the victim.

Really fed up by this, as thanks to the (as)social networks and media, their propaganda works among the uninformed masses.

u/sliever48 4d ago

This shit is exhausting. Why is the world being run by insufferable pricks these days?

u/MobiusF117 Netherlands 3d ago

Awareness. Pricks have been running the world for millennia.

u/theaviationhistorian Mexico 4d ago

They've been given a free reign on corruption and being openly hostile.

u/MeYouUsStories 4d ago

Yes exhausting 🥴

u/infosectechguru 4d ago

By FIFA the mean “Infanpedo accuses”

u/ThetaCygni 4d ago

He is doing all the smearing himself. Blatant self-smearing

u/Spunndaze Netherlands 4d ago

Pretty sure he's driving that bus himself.

u/GongTzu 4d ago

Lmao. What a bunch of pancakes at FIFA, no one can really take them seriously, except they still pay their way for votes. Infantino is corrupt to the bone. He needs to be thrown out of the office asap.

u/sirZofSwagger 4d ago

He did it all himself

u/TotallyNormalIsland 4d ago

its not smear if its true

u/26point2miles 4d ago

"UEFA accuses Infantino of launching smear campaign against himself."

u/FayannG 4d ago

Bro tried to hijack the organization and now is wondering why others hate and don’t trust him

u/Way-Adept 4d ago

Intentions so much like Trump, “Hey, someone shit my pants!”

u/mybossthinksimworkng 4d ago

No campaign needed. We all saw him smear himself for the last 2 years.

u/bananalolo1 4d ago

get rid of him NOW! What a disgrace

u/tacs97 4d ago

He smeared himself. Why would someone else have to launch a smear campaign?

u/MuddaFrmAnnudaBrudda 4d ago

Don't blame UEFA for your own greed.

u/AppleJoost 4d ago

Is that all they can come up with?

u/shizumuka 4d ago

Infantino wrote that post directly?

u/mankeyless 4d ago

A tactic learned from his Argentinian friends?

u/Putrid_Dream9755 Canada 4d ago

He did that all by himself.

u/GroblyOverrated 4d ago

Yeah. He earned a smear campaign. Guilty as charged. What's confusing here?

u/ExpatLivesMatter 4d ago

If the smear fits.....

u/splitcroof92 Netherlands 4d ago

"You're trying to make me look bad"

"Uhm, I'm just listing the things you've done..."

u/Crazy_Director6419 4d ago edited 4d ago

In other words, Gianni Infantino accuses UEFA of launching 'smear campaign' against Gianni Infantino.

u/Achereto 4d ago

Ah, the classic reaction of narcissistic people when confronted with valid criticism.

u/SunMoonTruth 4d ago

FIFA showing its ass.

u/TwoOhFourSix 4d ago

Hilarious

u/Minimum-Actuator-953 4d ago

Shit smears, so 🤷

u/HungryAddition1 4d ago

Go UEFA. Good for having a spine. I wish MLS follows suit

u/Electrical-Ad6623 4d ago

I hate how all these powerful people run these campaigns of, “don’t believe your eyes, let us run these dumb ass news stories so you can believe us.” Infantino was caught on live TV showing his displeasure of Spains goal against Argentina

u/My_sloth_life Scotland 4d ago

They don my need to, his open corruption is smearing himself.

u/coffeeloverandfruit 4d ago

awww poor Infantino… need some pity?

u/Intelligent_Sky_7081 4d ago

Infantino is just following what Trump does

And people somehow buy into their bullshit

u/dkmegg22 4d ago

All UEFA has to do is sit on their asses and let Infantino talk.

u/ExtremePermit3242 4d ago

UEFA is trying to oust Mr Infantino from power with a resignation or in the FIFA presidential election in March.

Well I wish them luck and I hope they manage. Infantino is a disgrace for football at this point. Good for (his) business, but terrible for the sport.

u/hansmellman 4d ago

Launched a smear campaign against himself with his disingenuous behaviour, the egg headed dope.

u/ViolettaQueso 4d ago

Trump playbook, which is also stolen IP from other corrupt officials from world history.

u/TheSqueeman 4d ago

UEFA didn’t need to do that, Infantino is more then capable of showcasing his own corruption

u/Maillihp 4d ago

Alternative title.

Corrupt individual blaming others for pointing out his corrupted plans.

u/That-Ad-4300 4d ago

Takes no responsibility for actions. Finds out after fucking around.

u/Crivens999 4d ago

Now where have I heard that before…

u/PollPixx 4d ago

"The bastards smeared us with facts!! "

u/Jerekott 4d ago

“You have done that yourself.”

u/zoobiz 4d ago

He’s done a pretty good job of smearing himself, and really doesn’t need any help

u/Mother_Equivalent649 England 4d ago

HAHAHA THE FUCKING IRONY

u/verholies 4d ago

LOL. LMAO even.

u/zubairhamed Germany 4d ago

AAAAND?

u/Prestigious-Badger-2 4d ago

I'm definitely not from Europe, not hired by Infantino but a clown is visible from a mile away.

He acts as though the sport owes him a favour.

u/TheUnEven Sweden 4d ago

"Today I feel smeared. And it is UEFAs fault!"

u/Amclover69 4d ago

"Today i feel spat in the anus."

u/mrObelixfromgaul 4d ago

Fifa: how dare you insult our great leader.

u/No-Contest-8127 4d ago edited 4d ago

Threaten us with a good time.

UEFA didn't need to try.

Infantino is not a victim. We all saw it.

u/usatigeruk 4d ago

As the Americans say double down on that corrupt c###

u/Jomosensual 4d ago

It's not a smear campaign if it's true

u/Yomatius 4d ago

Exactly!

u/killingfloor42 4d ago

a tactic right out of the trump handbook.

u/kakarot-3 Egypt 4d ago

Is it FIFA as an organization making the accusation or is it Infantino making the accusation while hiding under the FIFA name?!

u/spittymcgee1 4d ago

It’s good to be king, just for a while, to be there in velvet, yeah to give em a smile

u/jeru23 4d ago

How do you smear a smear? Is it just more smeared? Smearered? Smeagle?

u/mikedomert 4d ago

Smeagol. That was your name, wasnt it

u/seadcon 4d ago

Well, the world cup IS his precious isn't it.

u/Weareallme 4d ago

So Gianni Infantino accuses UEFA of launching a smear campaign against him. Why would anyone take that seriously?

u/barnettb 4d ago

Smear away lads

u/Head1essRooster 4d ago

That man does not need a smear campaign. Really no need, at all.

u/kurashima 4d ago

This feels like the guy shooting someone meme.

u/Lanae42 4d ago

I doubt UEFA had to do anything. Infantino is doing a great job smearing himself.

u/Daylightuser 4d ago

How dare you besmirch the good name of Infantino

u/NoGemini2024 4d ago

I think Infantino smeared himself 😊

u/seadcon 4d ago

In peanut butter and strawberry jam according to the Epstein files*

*might be completely made up.

u/NoGemini2024 4d ago

Stress on the word might 🤣

u/elevenfiftyneun Bosnia and Herzegovina 4d ago
