Hey guys, just wanted to share this absolute climb. I came back to Wild Rift after a long break sitting at Diamond 4. In about two weeks, I managed to speedrun all the way to Challenger in just 68 games, ending with an 88.2% win rate (60-8 scoreline).

I played exclusively Poppy in the Baron Lane. Managed to pull 48 MVPs and 45 S-ratings along the way, mostly by abusing a massive Heartsteel stacking build combined with Sunfire, Unending Despair, and Amaranth Twinguard. Getting those low-HP passive armor/MR spikes from Poppy's W combined with Twinguard makes you a literal unkillable raid boss. I also permaban Ambessa to avoid dealing with her max/missing HP damage.

Pushing for Sovereign next to see if I can hold onto this win rate. Let me know if you guys have any questions about matchups, laning phase trade setups, or the full item build!

Trying to practice random stuff in the training mode and I noticed all of my bots on my team were MIA. Looked over and they have some spaghetti code auto recall.

So, I just hit sovereign recently and im curious. Does anybody know if in this rank if you dont play for a while will you decay? I don’t really wanna play ranked anymore and im planning to wait until the end of season to grind again.

Remind me a bit of Twisted Treeline mode.

Warmogs increase the efectiveness of both shens passive and unending despair 's sustain but warmogs should be bought if there is no heavy hp percentage damage on the enemy team if there is should be going resistances (lux is the goat for that ult ) this is my 2nd account currently at emerald 3

So today I learned about the worst jungler in the game in cho gath and why he does so poorly in wild rift compared to lol pc.

The main reason why ik this is true is that good junglers can clear 3-4 camps by scuttle and full clear around ~2:15 while cho gath is looking closer to 3:00 clear speeds. Most people think his ult makes him a good jungler allowing him to counter jungle like a nunu however nunu has the ability to get away better than cho gath with his cc and cho gath is far harder to land his cc with compared to nunu. This only gets worse when items get involved. Nunu can build fated ashes and bami's cinder for very good jungle clears as both items allow for bonus damage towards jungle camps and as you can tell the bamis cinder champions are dominating this patch. Cho gath unfortunately doesn't want these items as he's looking to slot into heartsteel and riftmaker for the cdr and scaling ap off of hp and sustain but it doesn't get around chogaths terrible ability to close the gap compared to nunu snowball ammumu bandage and rammus ball. Cho gath has terrible engage tools and his ult isnt nearly as teamfight oriented as ammumu rammus and nunu meaning cho gath tends to have a lot lower impact in game despite the fact that cho gath should in theory beat all of them cho gath can find himself being left behind by the other tanks. You could try to get around this with items like protobelt liandry's and bamis cinder to increase his clear speed and make his ganks more potent but you're naturally going to be at a disadvantage because they get to impact lanes more than cho gath and the payoff of cho gath isnt nearly high enough compared to junglers like yi shyvana rengar etc to combat this horrendous early game cho gath should not be picked as a jungler and I recommend people keep it top lane as its currently overperforming where it can stack heartsteel safely use its kit to respond to enemy pressure and scale into the mid game way better than a lot of other baron laners. I think cho gath's kit on paper is better suited in the jungle but the items and numbers on the champion disincentivize it while baron lane cho gath makes no sense because every matchup sounds terrible ie who in this list sounds like a good cho gath matchup knowing the champion is designed to counter low mobility mages like ryze Annie galio etc. Garen? Darius? Ambessa? Volibear? Aatrox? Sett? Gwen? This shit sounds terrible i think cho has 3 good matchups shen, nasus, kayle, malphite, maybe morde, and rumble but I doubt it they build liandry's riftmaker and you fold immediately I actually have no idea how that champion wins games at all sense his jungle role is bad no one plays it mid and baron sounds like he'll on earth after being excited for the new release I was severely let down by the lack of clear direction given to cho gath.

I’ve spent so many games trying to learn vi and when I finally figured I found her out I couldn’t carry games still like I do on nida’lee. When I go against them both I find 8/10 times the nida’lee was doing better aswell, I guess my real question is how is vi considered must pick when Lee sin and nida’lee still exist.

It was very hard to get to it first time, second time was no joke either but once you stop chasing and worrying about the rank and just focus on playing your best and improving you hit it with little effort.

What helped me the most was actually winning when filled as jungler or top. Once I mastered master YI a bit it seems like i can't lose with him

What is the deal with people picking ranged toplaners a lot these days? In my last 15 games I had 9 ranged toplaners that absolutely got gapped. This isn't league where you enjoy 15 minutes of uninterrupted lane dominance, enemy weakside tank will have to not die until first base and then you can't do anything to them. I just don't get the point of it being a thing really. Last game for example, I am control mage mid, our jg and adc is hyper-carry. i had to blind pick because our top didn't want to swap last pick, fair. He needs counter-matchup more than I do. Enemy picks Zed mid, Kindred jg and Maokai top. Our challenger last pick toplaner sees that, locks in Kai'Sa. I tell kai sa that im not going to risk my scaling or enter fog of war early to get one shot for her troll pick. I don't let Zed play the lane, don't let him take any farm, kill him and make him lose 2.5 waves. Zed comes back and I kill him again. I'm almost 2k gold up ahead. Zed decides to perma gank top and farm kai'sa with maokai because why not? I would still understand kai'sa pick if our comp didn't have scaling or dmg, but we had 3 carries already. If your blind pick mage midlaner is gapping a zed 1v1 maybe, just maybe you don't have to try to be the main character in the game. I think people would enjoy playing this game more if they figured out they don't have to feel like they have to carry or they can't climb. If we had a feeding tank or bruiser we could win still, comp is everything guys.

Someone tell me how I did more healing than 90% of players with Vi?

I checked my runes and items, and her kit. I have no healing outside of my Smite, which is tiny right?

Does anyone know why Gwen and Caitlyn have yellow clock symbols on the top right corner? I’m confused why it’s there if it looks like all the crystal rose skins are disappearing from the store in 2 days indicated on the top left side.

I've heard it's an anniversary skin, but has it ever been reran? We had the Braum skin last year, but I'm so bummed about missing the Nunu skin. Has it been confirmed that the skin is gone for good or is there a chance for it to be brought back even through the shop?

When I'm watching streams, I see a lot of people saying they can't climb because of trolls. However, I believe the vast majority of them would never reach Challenger anyway, even with the system giving them a boost.As a veteran player, I find reaching high ranks in Wild Rift extremely easy, so I'd like to understand why so many people struggle to climb.

Finally first Pentakill with Ahri altough we were ahead and had Elder and Baron...Ahri is always good pick for mid,for me best mage ever (wave clear,roaming,burst and true damage,mobility,haste)

After gruelling hours juggling work and grinding. I finally managed to reach Challenger despite having 50% win rate. I can finally rest.

His every hit in urf fully heals his entire life bar. He is killing people in one or two hits. This is so unfun and stupid to play against idk who on the balance team allowed this but it’s absurd. The game is not even fun anymore

Some augments really destroy a lot of champion kits completly. If you don't know, this augment is basically 5 or more revives in a row and there is no counter that says how many revives with lower HP than the previous you have and it increases when you reach the current max hp so champions that heal get more revives sometimes or i dont even know. In AAA ARAM champions who can get resets with their ults like Darius, Vex, (Riven) etc kinda are useless same for champions getting stacks like Cho Gath cause the enemy never dies and you can not really see when is the final time where you actually get the kill counted. There are so many more revive or/and invincibility augments too. Divine Reckoning which is a revive with kayle ult on top, the one augment that is like sion passive, the one augment that is zaheens passive from PC LoL (or old aatrox passive from PC), ult immunity and i probably even forgot something. I am accepting most of those augments, but indicators for revive augments need to exist showing the enemy if an augment is on cooldown or not like with divine reckoning. This game mode used to be just a fun chaos, but nowadays it is a "revive 5 times be immune 2 times and either oneshot everything or tank everything for 20 minutes straight"... the most balanced this mode used to be was when it was called Hextech ARAM (or classic AAA ARAM which is the same with a different name) and it is kinda crazy to call it the most balanced because of the get 3 lucky souls for elderdragon buff thing.

It is really sad how overloaded AAA ARAM has become and how broken specific champions are now (also why did they give master yi 120% AP scaling on alpha strike and 400% on meditation? I really wanna know what drugs Ri-ot is consuming)

A friend of mine was hardstuck Master at 60 FPS for a couple seasons. He upgraded his phone this season, switched to 120 FPS and hit Challenger, even Legendary Challenger this season…
He’s a jungle/assassin mid main and says 120 FPS completely changed the game for him with timing and last hitting/killing.
How big is the actual difference between 60 and 120 FPS? Because this honestly shouldn’t be this impactful lol

Bring back the full-screen background option!

Previous patch there used to be an option in the overview menu to view the background/ wallpaper fully unobscured in the main menu screen. I would really love and appreciate if Riot could bring back the option to view the full art on my phone!
