I'm having issue when applying tourist E-Visa. I have tried everything otp is not reciving after shown sent successfully but from last 3 days its showing otp seng error. Day by day its getting worse and team has inforned me in coming hours all will be fine Im listening the same lines from a month ago. I recived otp at 11:30 PM Italy time but than it shows payment error. There are some other people too trying nothing working.

So i applied for the Denmark Visa, via an agent. Got the max insurance cover, booked flights. Hotel room for all the nights.. did a small blunder of not looking at the flight schedule and hotel bookings didn't match.

Also. They didn't believe that i am associated with a Danish Company as their brand partner in India.

Got a call from them for more info as well as an email for a lot of more documents. Had an invitation from the Danish company.

Got the visa in 4 days only. But theere were remarks like no hotel reservations/no name on provided hotel reservations

Got it for a whole 12 days only, which isn't a problem as i only meeded 7 days and not planning any other trip to EU/Schengen states for the next 6-8 months. But the scrutiny level is applaudable, also is the trust they show. I was quite convinced my visa would be denied but, et voila it was approved. Exactly from the date i intend to arrive. Earlier i got it for exactly same day it was approved (french embassy)

I’m applying for a Japan tourist visa for a 10-day trip. Over the last five days, my sister and father have transferred a total of ₹1.5 lakh into my bank account.
Since these transfers happened shortly before my visa application, could they raise concerns or lead to extra scrutiny of my bank statements?
Has anyone applied in a similar situation? Would you suggest explaining the transfers in my cover letter and providing supporting documents? If so, what documents would help?

I applied for my Japan visa on 3rd September (morning slot). My application was sent to the Consulate on 4th September (Friday), and it’s still showing as “Under Processing.”

Has anyone applied around the same dates and received any updates?
Would be helpful to know the recent processing timelines.

Anyone who applied for south korea tourist visa at vfs bangalore or chennai post August 17 got approved or rejected ?

First-time applicant to Schengen. Applied for a tourist visa, showed a 9-day long itinerary to Czech Republic, Austria and Germany. Received a 9 day long stay permit.

Timeline:

25 August (Tuesday): Submitted application at VFS Mumbai Mahalakshmi

26 August: VFS forwarded my application to the Czech Republic Mumbai consulate.

4 September (Friday): Received a phone call from a lady speaking in Indian English at the Czech Republic consulate. She asked me my itinerary, who I would be travelling with and why I wanted to visit the Czech Republic.

5 September: EES portal started showing my status as OK for my itinerary days.

7 September (Monday): My passport reached VFS for me to pick up, since I did not opt for their courier service.

Documents submitted:

1. Passport and photocopy of the first and last pages.
2. 2 photographs. Your face should cover 80-90% of the photo, otherwise, they'll be rejected. I got mine clicked at VFS by paying Rs 200 for 4 photograph print-outs.
3. Schengen visa application form, filled by hand.
4. Cover letter with daily itinerary.
5. Confirmed and fully paid, partially refundable flight tickets.
6. Fully paid for hotel bookings, fully refundable, from a popular website.
7. EU global rail pass, also fully refundable for the entire duration of my trip.
8. Travel medical insurance, bought one with visa rejection cover add on.
9. 3 month original bank statement of my salary account, duly stamped and signed by the bank
10. ITR acknowledgement page for the past 3 AYs
11. Payslips of the last 3 months
12. Employment contract - I was asked to sign each and every page of it at the VFS counter
13. A statement from my HR, addressing the Czech embassy, mentioning that I had taken leave from so and so to so and so date for the trip. They also added my passport number and salary details on it.
14. CAS of mutual funds for the last 3 months, as I had not maintained much money (often below or around 1 lakh) in my account. Note that I had just above Rs 3 lakh on the date I applied for the visa.
15. Credit card statements of the past 3 months, again, because I had not shown much balance historically in my bank account.
16. Copy of my UK visa and entry stamp. The visa was valid when I applied for the Czech visa, but it will expire by the time I travel to the Schengen area.
17. Aadhaar card copy - This is probably not required, but I submitted it since my passport had been issued in Kolkata (under the jurisdiction of the Czech Embassy, New Delhi), but I was applying from Mumbai. My Aadhaar card has my Mumbai address on it. I just wanted to be on the safer side.

I applied for Japan visa last month under “Tourism” and got told today that I was rejected, I do not know what to do since all my documents were complete and the balance on my bank account was decent. I have a friend in Japan, whom I did not write under “Visiting a Friend” since I was quite confident I’ll get accepted given I am self sponsoring the trip, despite actually visiting my friend. Can I still re-apply for the visa around next week? My trip will be next month.

Hello, I’m applying for a Japan visa on my own. I was previously rejected for a Schengen visa and ended up losing a significant amount of money, so this time I’d prefer not to make any bookings before I know whether my visa will be approved.
I had a few questions:

I used to be self employed but currently on a sabbatical.

Q1. Can I submit a proposed flight itinerary and confirmed, fully refundable hotel bookings while applying for the Japan visa instead of purchasing non-refundable tickets? I am unable to find fully refundable tickets atm
Q2. What documents can I provide to demonstrate my financial stability and intention to return to India? I do not own any property in the country.
Q3. Could someone please share a sample cover letter and advise what information/documents I should include to make my application as strong as possible and avoid rejection?
Any advice from people who have successfully applied for a Japan visa under similar circumstances would be really appreciated. Thank you!

I am seeing some recent posts on japan visa rejection. My biggest concern is that i usually maintain very small amount in the salary account. But this time post salary credit, I have not moved my money and currently have about 1.7L. My monthly inc is 2 lakh +, have my payslips, ITRs in place. I have planned a 10 day trip to Japan in November. What are my chances of acceptance?

I received my VIN so now I have to submit to the Korean consulate in Atlanta to move forward. I'm just confused about the passport, passport photo, and mailing in.

The appointments are taken until the 30th so I have to mail in. I'm confused on whether I need to mail in my physical passport or not. On the consulate website, it says you have to if you're a US Citizen but I've seen that you can also mail a notarized copy of a photo scan. But I can't find clarification if that's okay or if it's just worked for others at different consulates.

Also, they asked for a 2 by 2 passport photo affixed to the application form. The form my recruiter sent me already has the photo there but should I still get the exact 2 by 2 photo printed?

And lastly, for mailing in, the website states that all mail ins need a envelope inside with a label already there or it will be automatically rejected. But if I end up just doing a notarized copy of my passport, what is the envelope for? Do they send the physical visa card to my address or is it a digital card?

I'm going to try to call later but in case I can't get someone on the phone, I wanted to ask here. This is the last step of the process but I don't want to risk delays because I mailed something incorrectly.

My wife is reapplying for an Italy tourist Schengen visa after her previous application was refused.

The refusal letter mentioned the following reason:
“The information submitted regarding the justification for the purpose and conditions of the intended stay was not reliable.”

We are trying to understand what may have caused this and how best to address it in her new application.
One possible reason for the refusal may have been an inconsistency in the documents: the visa application was submitted only in my wife’s name, but the flight reservation included both of our names, without any explanation as to why I would not be traveling with her.

Originally, we were planning to travel together, but I am no longer able to travel because I will be joining my MBA program during that period. She will now be traveling alone and funding the entire trip herself.
For the new application, all her travel documents—including flights, accommodation, and itinerary—will clearly reflect that she is traveling alone.

My question is: Should she attach our marriage certificate and my MBA admission/acceptance letter to explain why I am not traveling with her? Or would a simple explanation in her cover letter be sufficient?
Since she is funding the trip herself and I am not sponsoring her, I don’t want to include unnecessary documents and potentially complicate the application further.

I would really appreciate advice from anyone who has experience with Italy or Schengen visa reapplications, especially after receiving this particular refusal reason.

Hi everyone. I really need guidance from Pakistani students or graduates who have actually gone through the study abroad process themselves.

I recently completed my BS Computer Science with a 3.26 CGPA. Because of some personal circumstances, I missed most Fall 2026 deadlines, so I’m now looking for a very late 2026 intake or ideally January or February 2027.

I’m mainly interested in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Data Science with a business focus, AI with Business or Analytics, or similar technology plus business programs. I’m not looking for a pure MBA or another hardcore Computer Science degree.

My priorities are simple. I need low tuition, affordable living, the ability to legally work while studying from the beginning, and preferably opportunities for part time work, TA, RA, internships, or university jobs.

I’m also trying to understand the financial proof side. Does the money need to be in my own bank account, or can my sponsor, in my case my husband, show his income, bank statements, and financial resources instead? I also do not currently have IELTS, although my entire BS degree was taught in English, so I’d like to know which universities accept an MOI letter, internal English test, Duolingo, or something similar.

I’m open to any country where these conditions fit, especially affordable options in Europe or nearby regions. I’m not considering the USA.

I’m specifically asking Pakistani people because the visa and financial requirements can be very different for us, and I would rather hear from people who have actually gone through it than rely completely on consultants.

As the title says, I applied for Ireland Visit visa on June 24th 2026 from VFS Chennai. It was dispatched to the Irish Embassy on 26th June. I opted for keeping the passport with me. Now it's been past 10 weeks and I am not alone, I see a lot of people who applied last week of June still waiting for updates.

I was planning to leave on the 26th and haven't booked flight tickets yet, but prices keep rising every day. I knew my visa was going to take a while because I already have a UK rejection from 2024. I mentioned that in my cover letter and submitted additional documents.

Now my question is, even if my visa gets approved, how long does it take for the sticker to be applied to my passport and for me to receive it. If anyone has been through this lately, please throw some light on it.

Hi everyone, I’m applying for a Japan tourist visa from India and have a question about the NOC from my employer.
My actual travel dates are 17 October to 25 October 2026. However, my employer’s NOC only mentions the dates for which I have officially taken leave from work, which are 19 October to 23 October. The 17th and 18th are the weekend before my leave, and the 24th and 25th are the weekend after my leave.
HR has told me that the NOC will only mention the approved leave dates, and they won’t mention the full travel period unless I also apply for leave on 16th and 26th.
My flight bookings, hotel bookings, and itinerary will all show 17–25 October.
Do I need my NOC to explicitly mention the entire trip duration (17–25 October), or is it normally fine for the NOC to mention only the approved work-leave period (19–23 October), with the travel dates shown separately in the flight/hotel itinerary?
Has anyone had a similar situation with a Japan visa application? Would appreciate experiences from people who applied from India.

Hello, me and my wife are from different state of India. She is from Bengaluru and I am from Mumbai.
Q1: She doesn't have Mumbai residential address, can she apply with me at VFS Mahalaxmi if applying together?

Q2: If we're applying individually, hers in Bengaluru and mine in Mahalaxmi, do we have to specify that we're travelling as husband and wife in our cover letter despite our application being different and at different VFS?

My husband earns 4500 but money is debited/ withdrawn and by end of 2nd week mostly the account balance is very low. I and my husband applied for our Japan Visa on 1st September, VFS Delhi. It reached the embassy on 2nd September (Tuesday). Friday, 4th September the Embassy was closed. Today, 7th September our VISA is here!!! We got an email in the afternoon and we rushed to VFS Delhi to get our passports back.
We got a 15 days single entry visa.
