For the total slaughter of the Hungarian women's team. 3Q 66-24, and they're so serious - playing like it's the finals. The superior physicality and speed of the French team is impressive.

The crowd though - so quiet. We need a Ballhalla scale to rank the crowd support.

Ceci and the Italian women also played great, won their first match.

What was your Ballhalla scale? They're in Germany right? Let's see what they're like with the home team.

I went to Portland last weekend and I'd give them an 8-9. Their. speakers are so loud it's hard to completely hear the crowd noise. I'm glad I brought earplugs. Their fans were great, and a lot of Ballhalla travelled!

Open to suggestions, I'm just making this up. This is crowd noise level not stadium sound. I'd say: 

• .25 Ballhalla is the pregame show level
• .50 Ballhalla is when the pregame video kicks off and they come on court for the game (not the shoot around)
• .75 Ballhalla is when a player we like but is not on the Valks makes an amazing play (like Olivia Miles and that no look behind the back pass a few weeks back) This is usually accompanied with a crowd level 'Owwww' in pure athletic appreciation.
• 1.0 is a regular season win. It's a full monty Ballhalla, you know it, you feel it and you want more.
• 1.5 is last seasons playoffs qualifier, AND any win vs Fever, Aces, Lynx - this is ears ringing after the game, like a loud concert. The kind of loud where you think - this may be bad for me, next time I need earplugs. 

Post season Ballhallas I'm not scoring yet, last year does not count as they were not in Ballhalla and I can't account for that arena's acoustics.

the ringing ears the next day thing sent me to earplugs. over 80 dbs can cause permanent damage. I got an app and it routinely goes over. Seems crazy to me. The crowd is already hyped up, you don't need the volume that high
