Can someone ease my anxiety about how long thc is detectable in an oral drug test?

I just landed my dream job, however they require an oral drug screen that tests for thc. My test is on the 16th. And the last time I smoked was early morning on the 7th. Will 9 days no thc be long enough to pass? I know that most people say you need to stop at least 3 days before. But I’m a chronic daily user, usually puffing on a cart all day for about 4 years. So I’m scared it will be detectable in my saliva for longer. Am I overthinking or should I just chill out? The test will certainly be sent to a lab for further examination.

I've smoked day before a saliva test and been fine. Just brush your teeth and use mouth wash as usual. Literally zero chance you test positive. Saliva tests have a very, very slim window of being able to show a positive

if it's instant last I checked was like over 24 hours it's not detectable

some googling 24 hours is the minimum, with heavy use it could go as high as around 72 hours

but I would be so confident going 24 hours . so like if it's at 2PM Just smoke a bunch before 2PM the previous day, and go to bed early lolol

If it's oral 9 days completley free of thc should be enough, just to be safe brush your tongue the morning of, drink plenty of water the night and morning before.

If it's a piss test or a hair test, different story, but oral should be fine.

You’re good lol just chew some gum or suck on a cough drop before the test and you’re good. I’ve literally smoked on the way to a swab test and popped a cough drop and passed

If you really want to nuke and pave, eat fresh pineapple. The bromelain in the fruit flesh is an enzyme that literally eats away at your gums and cheeks, which is why eating pineapple hurts after a while.

Also I’m pretty sure your body replaces every cell in the mouth every 10 days

Oral should be fine, but deny a piss test at any cost.

I live in a legal state. Just this job gets for thc
