I'm going to my brother's baby shower. We are going to play a game where we guess what name they have chosen. It's a girl! Excited to be an uncle, excited to have a niece, and everything.

But.

I need the stupidest tragedeigh names to suggest for that game. For fun. To watch my family slowly think I'm mental.

I say not a tragedeigh because technically it’s not like Combushynne or something, but I’m so serious one of my old friends was an athlete and once played against someone named Combustion.

I have been waiting for this moment as a long time lurker. I received an email from someone on a huge mailing list for my organization and was taken aback. Surely, there is no way a parent would do this to their child but lo and behold, the woman’s legal name is Sthefanny.

Honestly, it brings feelings of calm and satisfaction to have found such a gem in the wild. Due to my overwhelming curiosity, I googled the name just to see if anyone else has been blursed like this woman. Sure enough, there is a popular influencer with the same name. Unbelievable.

I had no idea how to flair this, sorry. I had a dream I was somewhere with a bunch of kids running around and one little girl had her name printed on her shirt: TYXLYL. It sounds like a medication or one of those bad blended names. It's not even far fetched though, I just remember thinking, that poor kid!

I saw the name Avanjoleene, horrible spelling, but I so easily recognised it Evangeline. So many more names are like this, and i pick it up rather quickly. I am becoming numb to the tragedeighs. Like wow, is my brain fried? Or exercised?

was attending an event at a Mormon church and they had a plaque thing for a current missionary from their ward named Freedom Wyzard. what. i guess if the girls are all named Brickinzleigh or something, the boys have to suffer too 😭

Yes I am 100% sure that is the actual spelling. Qyinn. I just want to know what the parents were thinking. That is not how English or spelling works at all. Does anyone make sure they know how to spell and are double sure that is what they want on the birth certificate? She has a brother named Teagan-Michelangelo and he is referred to by that entire monstrosity of syllables. I am just sad for them.
