After being tired of using covert 2 and agility 2 to sneak around with melee I decided to try a more direct version that y'all can try

Machete

Brawler2, FAT1, EE2, and Marathon Runner 2

This one loadout has single handlely restored my respect for the machete even though it costs a lot, I just have to purchase it sparingly when I have the components to upgrade it. Also this loadout gave me my first "Molotov duck". The encounter was where I ducked under a HR shot then I ducked a Molotov that would've hit me POINT BLANK and got a slide hit stick kill on the guy who threw it(and made him rage quit)

Overall, very fun to use compared to a stealthier approach, I feel like that one hunter in the university that runs at you with the axe!

People who ragequit at the first sign of trouble probably never get to experience the exhilaration of completing a comeback. Isn't that crazy? Possibly one of the greatest feelings in Factions... and you rob yourself of that because you died 3 times in a row 😅

Does anyone know why people die immediately instead of going down? Is it a bug? A perk? Im genuinely confused. And before anyone ask, no im not talking about getting headshot by a military sniper or getting hit with a molotov. I just had a match where I died instantly after losing a fight to board And another time from Frontier rifle, no down, just death. How come?

Has anyone else run into this issue? It says I have purchased them but they have become locked for some reason. I have restored my license and gone to the DLC section, but can’t seem to reactivate these loadout skills.

Anyone else finding it harder to find games? I play supply raid no parties and usually not a problem but last few months it usually disconnects from host etc.

I had all dlc weapons on ps3. I now bought remastered, and all dlc unlocked except for the gun pack with enforcer, launcher, double barrel, spectre. Is that a glitch, or does that one not transfer to remastered?

I have often wondered how many people still play LoU Factions. I would imagine at least in the few 1000s right?

I play on the PS4 Remastered and see familiar names now and then (Shoutout to Xx_Milfhunter69_xX) but still new players more than repeats.

Can anyone find out what the true player count is? How many people have been online in the last month? Any of the devs we could reach out for this info?

Would be great to know, perhaps the size of the active users is a reason the servers are still up…

Shorty, Shotgun, Reviver 3, Collector 1 and Fortitude 1

Decided to completely ditch FAT even FAT1 because it took me a while to realize but having reviver 3 basically negates the need for FAT3 since they are almost at full health on revive. Also I've tried comboing with the shotgun and the shorty in case the first shotgun discharge doesn't get them and it works well and saves shells. I'm using my weapons defensively also instead of blindly rushing. Overall, good loadout but depends if your team is also cooperating.

I was devistated when factions for the original ps3 went offline.i just learned that its still live on ps4 remastered and that there are emulator options

I have a good pc, and ps3 with part one.

Ehats the best way to play again? Private servers on original ps3? Emmulator? Just buy a cheap ps4 and remastered?? Where are the most players?

I joined mid game and once I got downed by the opposite team I was expecting them to execute me but then suddenly my teammate came along and healed me. Before I could draw my gun to shoot the opponent the opponent downed me again, all while my teammate is right next to me. They weren’t attacking my teammate but rather just targeting me. The opponents huddled around as my teammate kept healing me just for them to shoot me again.

Eventually I realised that the ‘teammate’ that kept healing me had the same user name as one of the opponents that was toying with me. I suppose they joined together but got placed in separate teams? No idea where the other 2 members of my team were during all this.

Anyway, it took me way too long to realise what was happening lol. I ended up quitting the game and blocked them. Anyone else experienced something like this?
