African is a huge part of being Puerto Rican. It's an ethnicity that consist of three ancestries, part of the African diaspora most black folks in the Americas originated from. And it's highly embraces. Like this isn't difficult to understand. Is the spanish language throwing you off? Sorry like all black/brown folks in the Americas they had to make use of their colonizers' language.

My response is referring to OP’s statement. If Fat Joe looks goofy, so do they for letting him get it off. So if they set him up, they set themselves up. They didn’t need to bring it up at all, really. And…yeah they can push back on something a guest says if they disagree (they clearly don’t). If Marc had been there and let that slide, that would have made him look horrible. So pushing back is not an odd concept lol.
And plenty of people who aren’t black American think this is absurd and goofy. Pretty much every black person outside of NY I’ve seen has thought this was a dumb fucking statement. And black Americans from the South aren’t known for “loving” their confederate neighbors lmao. So your comment makes no sense.
