I am currently in NCKU and I heard a lot of people come here to learn mandarin. I think the position is very convenient since it's near the train and bus station. There are also a lot of foreigners here. I can help u if u actually come here if u want :3

So far based on my friends experience and my personal experience, the teacher is actually very kind. No need to worry about it. Honestly, my mandarin is also still beginner level. Maybe you can learn how to order food and buy things through daily conversations.

I went there last year from june-august. Its a good uni. The place isnt so bad. If you just focus on ur study, it’ll be good

Wow ok thx !!!

This is a super famous Mandarin intensive programme and I am quite sure that you will be past ordering food almost immediately. It is a university-level course.

I think there are more than a few teachers. It is supposed to be a big programme.

Living Tainan would be harder although you still can find English speakers and even Koreans ( some Korean restaurant owners are exactly Korean ). Besides, the traffic is big issue here, you need to ride scooter here, as Tainan doesn’t have same Taipei train system.

For school, I would also say NCKU because the level is much different than NUTN. Of corse, I can’t promise you would get friends or Korean classmates, but it’s more possible than NUTN.
