This Rice Cake Feeds a Whole City: Same Recipe for Generations - Ningbo's rice cake stands out for how it's made. At a factory in Xiala, niangao is still milled from plain rice and reservoir water, same as generations ago. Locals turn it into everything from a Song dynasty recipe.

Self Promo Everything you use, eat, ride and depend on runs on something you’ve never seen — I make 3-minute videos taking those things apart
I started a channel called What Runs Everything. The idea is simple: pick one ordinary thing — a traffic light, a bank card, a water tap, a Wi-Fi router — and show what's actually going on inside it, drawn so you can see it, explained in plain English.
No jargon. No filler. No talking head. 1 to 3 minutes and you walk away knowing how something you touch every day actually works.
It's brand new and I'm doing it solo, so every sub right now genuinely changes what I can make next. If this sounds like your kind of thing, I'd be grateful for a subscribe:
https://www.youtube.com/@WhatRunsEverything
And tell me: what's one ordinary thing you've always wondered about? Best suggestion becomes a video.

I'm hoping there will be more survivors found in the power plant.

The Church of the Gerbil (This is an old parody website I found in 2001 when I first learned to use the internet. It's still up!) This may be corny, but I still find it funny.

Smoking + Strangers Podcast NSFW
I’m not a podcaster. Never considered being one. Not against but nothing I plan on going towards anytime soon.
I also enjoy smoking. Most times when I smoke, I get super chatty (esp w/sativa) and when I’m in public I’m way more inclined to talk to strangers. When I high and I’m outside, I feel better (esp when the weather is good).
If I did have a podcast, it would be that. I’m sure there’s plenty out there (although I haven’t come across any. Haven’t looked).
Sitting in a park or or a restaurant or something and talking. My show wouldn’t have a certain niche or anything. The topic would be totally dependent on the stranger. What they do, what they enjoy, what they believe in (religion, spirituality, etc) big fan of those topics) and get to know them.
Just wanted to share my thought somewhere besides a bot.
