Well , at the end that inconsiderate person is paying everyone's salaries in a sense. If it's open, that's a tough order but it has to be respected.

The average customer doesn’t know much about what goes into making a drink. They order, pay, and wait for their name while they play on their phone.

I get the frustration, but as the person who was the default pour over barista at my store, I loved doing pour overs during rush sometimes cause it was a chance to get a bit of breather.

probably the same person that ordered 17 drinks today during a huge rush at my store :) i’ve come to the conclusion that people don’t care. they don’t care about being courteous or kind. we are their coffee slaves
