Policy Question Point system

So I’ve been seeing people say they got points for clocking in early etc I clock in early everyday and I get on the floor when I clock in how do I know if I have any points or not? I haven’t been told I have any yet but I’m not sure if we get told when we get points or how to see if we have any

Yeah I clock in early by a minute or two a lot of the time and my SM hasn’t said anything to me about it. Seems like it should be against policy if it happens since they haven’t informed anyone that’s point-worthy.

You don't get points for clocking in early double check that with your CL you have to ask him to check your points.

I was told that points are given for clocking in early or clocking out late but the manager just goes in and removes them when they do their admin/payroll. I don’t know if this is true or not but overall the managers get to remove whatever points they want to and no manager is gonna get someone in trouble for being 2 minutes early I would hope.

Nope. Clocking in early or clocking out late flags as a punch violation but does not get any points. It flags because we're expected to manage our payroll and someone in clocking in early or late is using more labor than what is budgeted for and can result in overspending. Usually is not going to be a problem, but if the store is super tight on payroll, the manager may feel a need to rein in the excess spending.

Point are only collected when clocking in late, NCNS, and shift abandonment. This ou do not get points for clocking in early
