In all seriousness, don’t let your cat get in the habit of doing that. Especially with flat top stoves since the top stays very hot long after you turn it off. That happened to my last cat. He got a nasty burn on his paw. He never did that again. So when you use your stove, make sure you know where your cat is even after you turned it off. Better yet, teach them early not to jump on the stove!

He's recovering from a bad bout of gastroenteritis that landed him in the hospital, he's feeling a lot better but has to have mirataz on his ear once a day and isn't allowed to lick it off (the horror!). I think he's a cute fluffy little donut though...
