So we talked to the vet that seen her in the state that we got from as a puppy another one up here that does large animal mostly and seen a vet emergently, but it was the normal we have her see. She suddenly stopped eating and pooping and the slowly started drinking more. The vet we seen did an x ray and drained a bunch of clear fluid from her Abdominal cavity. The vets said her bloodwork’s shows something is off with her liver, they said it looked congenital and not something she injested.
But they’re also extremely worried about the fluid in her abdomen. It keeps making her stomach bloated and big.

4 years old. Cuddly, playful, easily startled. I’m adore him.

Convinced this may be the best dog breed ever!

This is George and he is 10 years old. He’s a sweet boy who loves going in the pool, running around outside, catching birds, and laying on the bed or couch. He’s a slightly anxious boy but overall he’s been the best addition to our family. I never posted on here but I really like this page.

She's 13.5 yrs old, has grey hairs that form spectacles, and gets her bottom lip stuck out sometimes.

I let my guard down and decided to trust her without a leash for about 15 seconds in my backyard. She grabbed a scent and took off. Chased her for a couple minutes through five backyards and finally caught her with a dive into the grass and grabbed her by the skin of the neck.

Will she ever not do that? or should I always expect that a springer wants to spring

I am not in a position to get a dog yet, yet absolutely dream of getting one when prepared. I’ve grown up with dogs and have had dogs that are a little difficult to manage and understand the time and training required for different breeds. I met a very English spaniel today and she was just lovely. please tell me anything and everything you can think of about this breed. She was the first one or one of only a few that I’ve met.

Its Not IA

Tucker has been showing more of a issue with his rear left leg. Not putting weight on it and some evenings have difficulty going up stairs. Did take him to the vet a couple of weeks ago where we did X-rays. Those came back positive and vet suspected he just pulled a muscle as he observed tightness in his hip. This isn’t consistent either, some days he seems better and others I can tell he is most likely in pain. We did doggy ibuprofen for 2 weeks which seem to work but now off of it.

I know he is getting older (9 years young) but also don’t like seeing him struggle. He still gets zoomed and puppy back every now and then. Vet does not think it’s ACL or anything along those lines. Setting up a visit next week as well. Just wondering if anyone see this?

Hi everyone! First post for both of us, so I figured I’d introduce Remy, our 8-month-old Springer Spaniel.

He’s got a huge personality, endless energy, and has pretty much taken over the house already. He keeps us busy, keeps us laughing, and somehow seems to get away with just about everything.
