Looking for new series suggestions for AOS fans?
I have watched
Agent Carter
Daredevil, Punisher, and all Defenders spin-offs.
Hawkeye
What if?
I am considering Cloak and Dagger or Moon Knight. Basically anything Marvel that you (the best fans in the world) recommend.

Never watched it myself but isn’t there a 6 episode series on YouTube called “Slingshot” following Yoyo in the middle of season 4? Also the rest of the cast apparently appears? Can someone let me know if it’s good I’ve been meaning to watch it but I completely forgot it existed since nobody talks about it

It’s totally worth watching, especially if you like Elena. About half an hour of content. It’s timed oddly into s4: IIRC, the main story takes place before the Rider arc, but it’s a flashback embedded within a framing device that takes place after the Rider arc.
I’m about to watch it again for the first time in years because I’ve been revisiting s4 lately.

Are you including Jessica Jones is one of the Defenders spinoffs? If not, then you definitely should be watching Jessica Jones. Honestly, the first season villain, Kilgrave, is one of the scariest villains I've ever seen, certainly in the MCU.

If you’re into DC I really enjoyed the arrowverse, particularly arrow, flash, and legends of tomorrow. There’s a website for release order if you’d like to watch it that way, as certain episodes are crossovers and can leave you slightly out of the loop if you’re not up to date on the other shows.

Legends is a perfect recommendation. Like shield, it took a little to truly find its footing from just good. Still a warm family feeling with a little heavier on comedy later on, but like, if the writers started taking those trippy space candies the gang in AoS took.

That's what I did. Finished my 5th or 6th watchthrough of AoS last year and then immediately crossed over the street to DC to watch all the Arrowverse shows.

Cloak and Dagger was for me one of the best shows Marvel has ever made. But I like more adult storytelling. Legion, Loki and Wandavision are solid contenders.

If you ever consider outside of Marvel, Burn Notice has a similar AOS formula. Villain of the week, over-arching narrative, a crew/family dynamic, antagonists are pretty fun. You'd probably love Psych too, more humorous. USA used to be the place for quality TV. Good luck!

I watched it during Covid when I was running out of things to watch, and I just rewatched it recently and it’s still so much fun. Season 3 drags a little, but I adore it over all. It’s got weird plot lines and super intriguing characters that seem like they’re all pulled from different comic books but they’ve always just been LIKE that… it’s crazy the work the writers put in to make it cohesive for a TV adaptation! That stuff is normal in comic books but hard to pull off with live action! I might also just be obsessed with Nico 💀

Not that they relate to AoS in any meaningful way, but my Marvel-related favorite series are
Legion
Loki
Falcon and the Winter Soldier
Daredevil
Jessica Jones
Moon Knight
With X-Men properties coming into the fold, Legion might be an interesting watch - even if it doesn't feature them directly. Its otherwise extremely well done, and almost avant-garde for a comic-based movie. Its cerebral - no pun intended.
Loki and FatWS of course; but Daredevil (and Punisher), and Jessica Jones are having increasing MCU relevance to current events.
I enjoyed Moon Knight for what it is, but others have already explained why they don't - which I find understandable as a previous fellow comic reader

If you enjoy series one of Altered Carbon then give series two a try - I know that a lot of fans had an issue with it, but I really enjoyed it.
Also maybe take a look at Ms Marvel - don't worry that you're not the target demographic, it's a slightly light hearted show about family interactions in a weird world which should appeal to an AoS fan.

Moon Knight is peak. I mean I'd recommend all Marvel TV shows. Love WandaVision and Agatha All Along. Loki is great.
Wonder Man was also a great Marvel show, but it is a little different.

There's some mutant-focused shows that are good, namely Legion and The Gifted. Legion was... a bit weird, but if you can roll with it it was pretty entertaining. The Gifted I thought was awesome with some good twists.
I also loved C&D, but it nd MK are very different from AoS. C&D is more YA and leans into Voodoo, but I think it's worth the watch. If you like it, definitely add Runaways after. MK is a short watch with only 6 episodes, so I don't see why not.
Also, are you aware of the Slingshot webseries about Yo-Yo? (You can watch it on YouTube)
I'll list some non-Marvel shows that come to mind as well. Feel free to ask about any that sound interesting.
Bad Batch & Mandalorian (both Star Wars shows). Andor and if you like that, Chernobyl, snd if you like that, Dark. WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. The adventures of Tintin. Leverage, Chuck, White Collar. Travelers (one of my favourite shows, probably best suggestion in this list!) The Orville. Video Game High School. Bodies, HBO's Watchmen (both DC, both very interesting. Don't walk into Watchmen blindly though.)
Definitely Travelers and Orville. White Collar is pretty entertaining as well.

Honestly all MCU shows are worth something in their own. But a non MCU show you might love is Runaways. I absolutely loved it but I don’t believe any part of it is considered canon anymore.

Legion (Not MCU) is fantastic and a must watch. Also The Runaways is very intriguing and a lot of fun.
I'll also recommend a non-Marvel show. Before AoS ABC had a show called "V" which has a lot of similarities. Many fans of the original did not like the remake but I really enjoyed it. The CGI may not have aged well, but the story sure did. Actually wild to think about in retrospect especially with the saga of how it allegedly got cancelled.

Cloak & Dagger’s alright, kinda ends just as it’s getting good. I’d recommend C&D before I recommend Runaways.
Moon Knight has one of the best premieres I’ve ever seen but quickly becomes mid. Oscar Isaac gives a great performance throughout though.
Outside of Marvel, if you enjoyed the spy elements of Agents of SHIELD, you might enjoy Burn Notice. It’s about a spy who gets “burned” and dropped in Miami. He uses his elite skills to help people in need. Lots of explosions and car chases.
Also! If you do podcasts at all, I’ve been loving Agents of SHIELD: Case Files by Randomchatter.com. It’s fun listening to all the theories and remembering what it was like to watch it for the first time.

If you like “Monster of the Week” with overarching narratives then there’s the OGs like Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Angel (both show run by similar people to AOS). If you want to go more sci-fi with it but the same episodic format then I would wholeheartedly recommend Star Trek (90s Trek most probably) or even Stargate & the Battlestar Galactica Reboot from 2004!

Star Wars Rebels is pretty good, I know it’s not Marvel and it’s target audience is children, but it’s still pretty good! it has the same “found family going on missions together to stop the evil side” vibe that AOS has…

Cloak and dagger is awful… I watched it in my current chronological rewatch/watch of the MCU and multiverse shows, so in my personal opinion, don’t watch that one 💀
Moon Knight is great! Idk what other marvel shows you’ve watched besides those listed, it I’m a big fan of the falcon and the winter soldier

So many things, it would be quicker to list out what I did like. Acting was awful, story tried to broach heavy subjects but wouldn’t commit, cheesy effects, dragged out plot with no substance, it was just so dull and that feels CRAZY to say when it’s supposed to be set in New Orleans… I felt none of that atmosphere
