What should Jerry have written instead of "There's nothing finer that being in your diner?"

Did anyone else notice that George’s Ava from The Stranded just sold Jerry’s apartment building ?

This has probably been asked: is there meaning or coincidence in Ava selling a property[in] Jerry’s building (“Guess who just sold 129 West 81st Street?!”) ? Am I missing something or ?

Did anyone else NOT get the whole "They're terrible people" vibe when first watching the show? Spoiler

Upvotes

Back when the show officially aired I never got the vibe they were all terrible. Back when it aired I was a teenager so maybe it was lost on me. But the main group didn't go out drinking on weekends, they didn't do drugs. They all had actual careers for large chunks of the show not just jobs. And a lot of the "terrible" qualities they had led to self sabotage more than just being bad people. I can see the thought process that results in seeing them as being bad people as an adult but I still think they were pretty tame in comparison to real people.
