How do I find an existing space

Hello All.

Im looking to launch a small take out spot but I'm having a very hard time finding a space with an existing hood and grease trap. Can anyone share some resources? I've tried online and the options are extremely limited. Is there anywhere specific owners post their spaces for lease?

Go to a commercial realtor and ask them to find you suitable spaces

Most new restaurants either directly take over a lease from an existing restaurant, usually with a price.

Or they build out the space them selves.

It's rare for a commercial space with restaurant equipment to just be sitting there as it has value.

I’m sure you’ve checked but when I search FB marketplace in my area, I have several come up. Most within a half hour or so from home.
