THERE ARE GOOD PEOPLE OUT THERE

I am so tired of people acting like everyone sucks. Especially men. (Yes, I understand that violence against women is a very big and real issue, and I would take the bear over the man, however) As a woman, I know what men think about (and you know what, a lot of women think about it as well!!). I had posted about mixed signals before and how I like this guy but he doesn’t want a relationship and everyone is like “he’s stringing you along for sex” and “it’s cute that you think because you told him you don’t want to hookup he’ll respect that”. I like to believe that there are respectful guys out there. Shame on me for having faith and hope that there are good people out there.

Idk it’s just frustrating. Yes I know that we have to be wary as women, but I know this guy and I have faith that he understands no means no. There are good people out there, and I try to live by the thought process of hope.

Wait... so how does a guy saying he's not looking for a relationship equal to "stringing you along for sex"?

I'm a guy & I'm 100% not looking for a relationship and I will tell you sex is no where in the cards, it's not even on the mind... I'm just enjoying my peace & stress free life... and there are a lot of guys that are just like me. We received your (women's) message & we understood your message. You (women) shall be treated as such.

Because I feel like I’m getting mixed signals (him still being flirty with me) however I don’t believe that he is stringing me along? I made it clear that I didn’t want that and I’d like to believe that he’d listen.

Don't mixed being nice, friendly & platonic with being flirty & romance.

If he is actually being flirty with you or if that is what you are picking up as a signal, you need to confront him about it & lock-in the relationship dynamic. Platonic or not.

He isn’t being nice, friendly and platonic. I know because he kissed me. Friends don’t usually do that.

You: "Hey. What are we? Are we a thing or not?"

Him: No

You: "Okay. Bye ✌️"

Not hard....

I’ve done that. Idk why you’re being rude.
