The OG's.  When I think of post metal, this is the band.  Met them a few times including a time when I messaged them on MySpace.  Another time, on the day of the release of their 4th album, I was at their show, and couldn't get in.  I was bummed because I wanted to get the album at the show.  Bassist walked by, heard me talking about it, went in and grabbed for me.
