ASST merger completed, hasn’t been announced yet
ASST has finally completed its merger with Strive to acquire $750 million for its bitcoin treasury. This hasn’t been announced yet so now is a great opportunity to get in before this takes off. Not to mention this stock is being heavily shorted at 42% of float with very high interest and with volume the squeeze potential is very real. DYOR, not financial advice.
No clue what’s going to happen but I picked up shares just in case. Not enough to make me wealthy if it runs but if it fails I won’t lose much either. Far less stress. Use proper risk management, and only trade what you can afford to lose. GL
It is what it is. Down 4k in 2 days but only lose if I sell. Averaging down and holding on because they are a new company so I expected volatility but this is ridiculously sad. Much more upside potential than downside. There's too many big investors here for this to tank long term. Seems deliberately pinned down by infinite ammo shorts.
Feeling like I hate shorts its oversold and this is absolutely manipulated to hell. Averaging down and holding on since its definitely not a bad company just did a stupid offering when they already had 750 mil. Ridiculous. I will say my calls are going to be worthless though.
Yeah this is ridiculous. I can wait as long as I need though is the thing. But sadly missed out on many good potential plays like the open door dip to $7 and atch from .4 dip
but do you think you'll break even or even profit, I mean even after what happened with MULN, it's a risk to even baghold certain stocks and the CEO seems not at all bothered by the 75% decline in share price.
Im hoping there's more incentive here long term than a real scam stock like MULN lol. Who knows though at this point its too risky. And yes I hope I break even but im not expecting anything crazy.
Was announced AH last night. It's heavily shorted and darkpool activity pretty much stalled movement afterward trying keep the price down but failed to get it low enough to exit. CTB was at an insane %832.

Shorts seem to be in a very bad position as the majority are already in the red with the close price. They're going to be coming at this hard at open so if you get in just wait it out. It' could be quite volatile but should end up blasting off.
Yup, and they were pretty ineffective. They managed to keep the price from going up but weren't able to drive it down more than a few percent. Most positions need to get it down to the $6 range to exit. That's what was being reported last night. If true, they're in a very bad position. This has the potential to squeeze hard.
Thanks, but I just don't see the logic here. If everything is announced and the path forward seems clear, why would the stock even dip, now? It's already doubled in short time.

Technical analysis shows this bull flag running to $14 without the short squeeze. If that happens shorts will have to cover, the potential isn’t even clear yet.
I am pretty sure the OP knows. There was a massive price bump from the 9th to the 10th. Wouldn't be surprised if OP bought on 10th and is looking for exit liquidity.
There is a potential for dilution, but that would be later on after this bull run. The idea is to make money, and buy back in at a lower price before they acquire bitcoin which will cause this to skyrocket again.
Most people don’t know this but the founder and contender of Strive is a very wealthy billionaire. I’m pretty sure he ran as a presidential candidate. Very successful and smart businessman.

I rode this thing 3 times now (missing the initial 1200%) moon shot ) and never took a profit
I have however capitulated few times to pay for life.

Overall, I think this is a Bitcoin treasury company that just successfully merged. It might not pump right now, but it will—because that’s how those rich people make money 😅. They haven’t announced that they bought Bitcoin yet (not mentioning the 69 Bitcoin they already had). Once it pumps, it won’t just be 2x or 3x—it could be 20x or 30x. At least, that’s what happened to some other stocks (with Bitcoin/crypto exposure) I saw recently. I think when they’re done making money from the dumps, they’ll pump it hard. What do you think?

On Aug 22, 2025, they acquired 69 BTC at $65K/BTC for $4.485M, now worth $7.659M at $111K/BTC — a 71% gain.
On Sept 16, a $680M buy at $111K/BTC equals 6,126 BTC, bringing total confirmed holdings to 6,195 BTC.
Combined cost basis: $684.485M, current value: $687.659M, average cost: $110,530/BTC, unrealized gain: $3.174M (0.46%).
The Block’s screenshot shows 6,944 BTC worth $798.95M. That figure may include BTC exposure from Section 351 tax-free swaps — and here’s the kicker:
Millennium’s 6% stake (22.42M shares) could’ve been issued for $83.1M in BTC equivalents, matching the 749 BTC gap exactly.
That would round Strive’s real 6,195 BTC up to 6,944 BTC, creating total exposure of $770.8M at $111K, or $798.95M at $115,047/BTC — dead-on with the screenshot.

I think you're right, Strive held bitcoin already but the plan is to purchase $750 million worth of bitcoin in installments. If they announce on Monday for example they've already bought $250 million worth of bitcoin/other cryptocurrency this will fly
The real question is: Why are you claiming the news hasn't been released. My guess is you bought high and are just hoping for another bump. I guess it possible that you believe there will be bump for approval and a bump for the completion.
Shareholders approving a merger, and completion of the merger via 8-K are two different things. Just because the shareholders approve, that has nothing to do with the Nasdaq approving of the merger.
Okay so for all of you who don’t know about the stock market, there are many steps to a merger being closed. The first step being that shareholders from the company acquiring the asset must approve the merger. Once that is completed, the Nasdaq must approve the merger, and a 8-K firm must be filed with the SEC. Nasdaq approved and the form was filed, therefore sealing the deal on September 12th after trading hours. And if you don’t know what’s a short squeeze is… just look it up.

I just got the same on RH. Says “this stock is not supported on Robinhood”. What the actual fuck. The original message says it’s “due to corporate action”.
I saw that. It has to do with the merger and the (name change) even though they are keeping the same ticker. I think it will be back to normal by premarket.
It has to do with their corporate action team. It’s always a good thing to use multiple exchanges but I think you should be fine to pick some up in the morning. Keep your eyes on ATCH also.
Shorts slam the price down in the open market, dumping like crazy so it looks ‘natural.’ But when it’s time to cover, they cowardly wait until the merger update and then suddenly it’s all dark pools and block trades at one price. Absolute bullshit.
They slammed it hard today, certain of a rally tomorrow. Unless they try even harder to flatline ASST like they did today at close, then we are dependent on news. CTB 832%, it's coiled tight and can't stay at this price forever.
I know the short interest was exceptionally high for this and it went up to 16 a couple days back. Do you think that it’ll still eventually break through, maybe even past that 16?
God, I hope so! I’m looking at an initial bounce back to $10 and more when BTC purchase is announced. They also have an offering hedged by a share buyback pending. Lots of great news to come.
That 5M block trade? No doubt in my mind it was shorts covering. Practically a single print. Nasdaq/Dark pools always open a backdoor for these guys. Meanwhile during the merger update, the sell button was literally disabled — even after hours, only buy worked. SEC doesn’t give a damn if retail bleeds out. Honestly, this is absolute bullshit and I’m pissed.
I’m down a couple grand as well. Just hoping for a positive catalyst soon. I think the company is well-positioned though to bounce back, primarily because of the leadership team they brought on.

Yeah so the short squeezers will try to hold the price low so if it doesn’t skyrocket in early hours (7-8am) would be the time to get in. Either way profit can still be made this should have a nice run.
Yes, but the terms of the merger agreement limit the impact to shareholders.
I can't remember all the details, but they have to hit certain price thresholds and hold them for 10 days to unlock new batches of warrants. I think the first threshold is $15.
The warrants are a secondary option. That has not been put into action and won’t be for some time most likely. The $750 million deal with Strive for bitcoin however has been closed as per the merger. Now it’s just a matter of time for them to start buying more bitcoin.
Yall need to stop posting this. Those of us who know how things work are aware that the shareholders approved of the merger. This has nothing to do with my post.
lol it’s still under update due to “corporate action”. They just announced their board of directors and bitcoin acquisition strategy. I’d say it’s looking good.
This prolly won’t take off for a few days. They’ve raised over $500 mil. They are also labeled as the first asset management bitcoin treasury company. Once they start buying bitcoin it’s only up from there.
