Hey everyone,
I'm trying to add credits via crypto and want to make sure I don't send funds on the wrong chain.
Older posts mentioned that OpenRouter accepts USDC on Solana, but AI search results only listed Base, Ethereum, and Polygon.
Could someone who has topped up recently confirm which networks are currently supported for USDC deposits?
Thanks!

Now that its been over a week since Sonnet batch stopped working (apparently) and without any post about it. OpenRouter has not responded at all since then. But all the info is still on the website. I cannot even submit feedback using the last successful batch IDs. It acts as if they don't exist. Surely I can't be the only one seeing this? I'm fine with Anthropic direct, but it would be nice to know what's up.

Hey, does anyone know how the OpenRouter discount policy works? Or is it more of a provider thing, but... still, OpenRouter gets a cut. When does the discount end? I'm kinda lost here, really. Shouldn't OpenRouter inform us?

Am new to this whole detailed model stuff like previously i just use to code from normal chatgpt chat as i have never worked on a big project.
So currently I have Gemini Pro Subscription (gemini 3.1 pro, 3.6-3.8 flash), ChatGPT plus trial (gpt 5.6 luna, terra, sol), 10$ OpenRouter credit (I can't topup more as am a broke student)
Currently am working on a ML project for a hackathon, so will be mostly coding in Python and its libraries.
So please guide me on:
Thanks in advance for your time and guidance

Hi everyone,
I’m new to this stuff, so sorry if I’m misunderstanding something.
My task is pretty simple. I extract around 60 Facebook posts per run, and I only need the text.
Before, I was using OpenCode with the free Big Pickle model. I never ran out of usage, and it did the job perfectly.
Now I want to automate this workflow using Hermes installed on my VPS.
The problem is that Big Pickle is only available for free through OpenCode, not through an API. So I tried GLM 5.3 Flash through OpenRouter instead.
The screenshot shows the usage from just ONE run of around 60 Facebook posts.
Am I reading this correctly? Did one simple run really use millions of tokens? That seems like a lot for just extracting text from 60 posts.
I’m not very familiar with tokens, API usage, or how Hermes handles context, so maybe I’m doing something wrong.
If anyone can explain what might be happening or point me in the right direction, I would really appreciate it.
Thank you!

NOOOOOOOOOOO
Minmax was the best roleplay model I ever used. I knew it wasn't gonna be permanent, but to see it before taken away really hurts me deeply.
Are there any other free tier models as competent?
Also, I'm planning on paying for the Minmax models. Does anyone have any experience with how the roleplaying costs work out for Minmax M2.7?

Small team, six devs, and our stack ended up with two Chinese models on API plus one western one. Nobody planned it, it just settled there.
Rough split:
• bulk agent work, self-contained research jobs, long file walks, context rebuilding: the two Chinese ones
• anything where a wrong answer costs us a client conversation: the western one, still
The first group is not a compromise, which is the part i did not expect. One of them is GLM-5.3-Flash, and yes i have seen forty posts telling me ox alpha was GLM-5.3-Flash, we get it, it was ox alpha. We had been routing to it for weeks before any of that, without knowing whose it was, and it held up on our work either way.
Not identical to the western one one on the hardest calls, but close enough that the split is more habit at this point than a line i could defend. On the agent heavy work either of them will do the job.
Curious how other people are drawing that line, because everyone seems to put somewhere slightly different.

The title is self explanatory. I want to buy openrouter credits with crypto. I found online that I need USDT so I have transferred some but I didn't find anything about which chain to use? I found some information about a few options like ETH mainnet and base. Base would be much cheaper. But I want to be extra careful as I don't want to lose my crypto. So, does anybody have some experience doing this before?

I hadn't realized this before. You can now limit requests to be sent only to US providers or only to EU providers, which is set at the organization level. You have to upgrade to a business plan, which means credits have a premium of 8% instead of 5.5%. (E.g., $100 of credits costs $108 instead of $105.50.)

You enforce the geofencing itself in guardrails.

One note, the guardrail settings will let you add "available" models that actually don't satisfy all your constraints. For example, in addition to US-only, we have a ZDR constraint. It's showing us models that are either US-only or that are ZDR-only (I suspect the latter). But when you delineate the list of models available to an API key, it'll be correct. Astra and Astra Pro are available, for instance, but Sol Pro is not (though Sol is).

I need the best free model for OR for RP, in your opinion. What do you recommend? As far as I know, GLM 5.2 is dead.

It says $1.47 while my full limit of $20 has been exhausted ($21,07). I just created the key for that one task and did not use it for anything else. What's wrong here? And more importantly: Is this the expected cost for that amount of tokens?

Hello,
After 1 day using OpenRouter for innocuous tasks (note taking & summarization, audio transcription; work totaling $0.02 of usage) my account got restricted & I am unable to use any of the models, via any means. The website simply displays "Your account has been restricted and cannot make API requests. If you believe this is a mistake, please contact support with your proof of identity and provide details on your intended use."
I have already contacted support, and they are not answering. So I'm hoping to see if anyone from this community has run into this issue before, and find out how they went about solving it. Because I am more or less locked out of the platform & credits I already bought.
A bit of venting: I am pretty frustrated with this experience; I am trying to find cost-effective ways of using LLMs while working on starting a business, and this whole experience really soured me on the platform.

Is it just me? I wanted to do a couple of quick tests and use 480p to save $ but I can't see any option to select it despite the model description saying 480p, 720p or 1080p, there doesn't seem to be anything to select bar the video length?

I've generated a video on openrouter seedance 2.5 playground: https://openrouter.ai/bytedance/seedance-2.5. I've paid 3.4$ for it and it's not available in my videos tab on the logs page.
I went to discord, posted on community help, and a guy tried to scam me by sending me to a different server where he kept insisting "helping me" add crypto to my payment methods.
I asked in the general chat, guy gets banned, and his links get deleted. A guy complains about the worst support experience ever for openrouter. I tell him my experience so far and that it's great.
Someone asks in the chat what I mean by not having the video available and I get banned after answering.
No swearing, not insulting anyone. Just banned after being ripped of 3.4$ and after the scam attempt on the official support channel.
This is truly unbelievable.
Edit: I got unbanned. It seems it was a mistake by the mods. Thank you for unbanning me

Sooooo fast. Surprisingly reliable too. I could see this replacing some people's local setups, at least temporarily while it's on discount. Great for lightweight scout/searcher subagents, I'm using it in Pi right now.

Hello,
I'm new to this way to execute LLM agents. I'm used to have personnal paid plans like claude 20$ or github copilot in my company. I'm not smart, late with the AI community and trying to keep up 😄
I just discovered openrouter which sounds great. I'm trying it before putting $ into it, with its free models.
For example, I'm trying nemotron ultra using continue in VS Code. It worked well, wrote 5 files, but stopped at the 6th files. I ask it to execute create_new_file tool from continue, it keeps "thinking", it understands, but it does not execute the tool anymore.
I tried moving to inkling in the same context window, same issue.
Maybe I'm missing some configuration in continue ?
I checked the rate limite using postman, but it does not help :

I'm wondering if continue is maybe not the best tool, but gemini keep telling me to use it, or roo code. I've had issue with roo when deploying gemma locally with ollama, it was not working.
What tools are you using to vibe code a project using tools like github copilot that is working with openrouter ?
Thank you

I am getting "[Decart] z-ai/glm-5.2:free is temporarily rate-limited upstream. Please retry shortly, or add your own key to accumulate your rate limits: https://openrouter.ai/settings/integrations" when trying to use GLM 5.2 (Free).
Anything can be done?
