was watching Mission Impossible Fallout the other night and uncomfortably laughed out loud at the scene were Baldwin holds a gun on Henry Cavill and says 'I think this ones loaded, do you want to find out'.

Up there with the 30 Rock episode "100" where Alec Baldwin's character accidentally shoots a janitor while going down some stairs.

Who in the world produced this movie and selected a armorer who would be doing multiple jobs at once?
•
u/AsgeirVanirson 10h ago
uj/ The same guy who made it a non-union set and had crew members threaten a walk off over safety in the weeks leading up to it.
Same guy who lied about pulling the trigger(he wasn't scripted too).
Same guy who picked up a gun, pointed it at a human, and pulled the trigger without verifying himself that it was unloaded.
The Armorer being overbooked and sloppy was a problem that should have been caught when they found live rounds in what was presented as a cold gun. Not when one of those rounds ripped through someone's head.
The justice system failed and Baldwin is a murderer walking free.

Law enforcement failed. The judge really had no choice.
The prosecution and law enforcement intentionally withheld that live rounds of ammunition turned in by a former investigator matched the live rounds found on the set of the movie from the defense. They filed it under a separate, unrelated case number so defense could not see it.
Alec deserved to go down. Misconduct got him released.

Why didn't Jay recognize Alec was on a mission of mercy from Mitch and Murray? Does she know what it takes to sell real estate?
