(I wasn’t sure what to use as the flair so I just used one of the question flairs) for context I’m playing on an Xbox series X, i wanted to play oblivion since I heard magic is better in this game after having loved playing Skyrim as a mage but after reading some of the issues the remaster had im not sure if I should buy the original or the remastered version of the game, you guys have any advice? Also if I should buy the remaster is the delux editions extra content worth it?

As the title states. I bought the game at launch but I was disappointed by the performance on my series S. I only played a few hours and shelved it until now. I remember seeing that people had issues with their save files, and was curious of the state of the game since it isn't getting any patches

I've recently started using Linux as my primary OS, including as my primary gaming platform. Although some games have had some hiccups, I've actually found Oblivion Remastered to run significantly better on Linux than Windows. On Windows I had semi-frequent stuttering and pretty frequent crashes during loading transition, but on Linux I find the game running more smoothly and without a single crash.

I'm wondering if my experience is unique or if others have found the same. Is there any online consensus about whether Remastered runs better on Linux than Windows? If anybody's struggling with performance on Windows and has access to a Linux installation then I'd suggest giving it a go.

Just finished the main quest and Ocato and Jauffre come in and Ocato kills Jauffre as some sort of glitch I assumed they hit each other or something during g the final battle. Am I missing any big dialogue/ quests from Jauffre being dead now?

Hail citizens. Clearly what happened was I heroically fought off a gate opening on the house I stayed at. Pally and Trayvond are around here fighting Daedra but I got the second floor covered. I have seen what Northern UI does, I do NOT want Skyrim in my Oblivion. I love the look of the original and would like to have proper gamepad support and that is it. I don't need anything else. I don't have an Xbox anymore, so my PC is the place to play this game going forward and I don't always want to play the Remastered.

When laumching Oblivion after full fresh restarts, installing it again after purging anything that touched the folders or was a mod for the game didn't help. It says the exe isn't there, but when I run the exe it just gives me an error code. All the files seem to be there, but it won't run

Hi, I havent played oblivion in almost two years, made a new character, wanted to go light armor, sword, bow, restoration, and sneak type character, now I cant hurt anything and I'm level 8, any tips to fix this? I definitely leveled wrong but I'm not sure how to fix it

Iam playing oblivion special edition on steam why doesn't steam overlay and fps meter and. Screenshots work in-game iam playing it vanilla. no mods
