Pushing a steam engine that hard is high risk itself. That steam engineer was likely VERY focused on those gauges. I wonder if they balance how much water they have onboard.
AKSHUALLY It’s pretty safe, pressure relief valves are extremely reliable these days as is welding tech. This tractor, if I recall correctly, is a modern reproduction that Case shared blueprints for and gave their official stamp of approval to along with a serial number. Boilers are everywhere still to this day, and explosions are extremely rare
