Top comp characters in my opinion

After considering neutral play, ults and defensive/ offensive prowess, these are my top 3 picks for each role. Different from my previous post which went by win %

I’d put Hood instead of Venom honestly

Losing my mind at people seriously thinking Venom is still in top 3 of tanks when Thing, Hood, Mag, Emma, Groot and Angela are on the field

Venom and Angela I think skew HEAVILY depending on the map and comp. Hood, Mag, and Thing translate to most areas more easily even if Venom and Angela can have some absurd highs

Yeah Angela gets screwed a lot of by counterpicks. Venom just gets melted in general rn and can't do his job. You can barely stay for like a second now with the damage

I've had a few higher level games where Venom was going NUTTY, but it was when he was backed with 2+ other dive characters and mobile healers. But yeah on his own he's just kinda annoying, usually.

I wish I saw more full dive comps. It wont usually be sustainable for multiple rounds, but when it hits jfc its a one sided slaughter. Dismantling an entire team from the ground-up is cathartic.

You try to play Venom into the top 10 best characters and you're just fucked. Angela can kidnap Magneto or harass Ultron. Angela can't play well into her counters but those are usually not just all the top tiers. For example Rogue is a good counter to Angela but she's awful. Both share the same weaknesses mostly but Angela's specific weakness aren't all in "pick or ban". All of Venom's counters except 2 are in pick or ban

Edit: Basically Venom is a better character but the meta sucks more for him

Current meta Angela is better. Tone down damage and nerf the top 5 dps and Venom is better

I play him in celestial occasionally while filling I think he is right in the middle of deleting lobbies or unplayable depending on what they do to him in the next patch.

Better left untouched imo.

Luna has multiple stuns, a 300+ one-shot combo that is viable in comp. strong DPS pressure while still being a main healer, also stuns that can easily cancel most ultimates. Cnd and rocket might have better ults but neautral play is what wins games

Respectfully disagree on Venom. He isn't bad, though Hood is monstrously good right now and is a much better option for the third slot, thanks to all the tools at his disposal. plus, yk, the aura

Venom nerfs hit him hard enough to drop him below Hood, Emma, and even Groot tbh. One of the only characters that was actually notably affected by the 9.5 changes.

As long as cat isn't in play Loki is making these front to back comps immortal.

You play a good Elsa, it changes everything, they don’t appear much until gm above. It’s high Elo pc where she is a huge issue. Also you must not play dive, she destroys most dive characters but is also versatile enough to play into anything. And need I say anything above the ult? If it gets you and the Elsa has reloaded and has a lil room to dash back, gg unless ur a tank but even then, you’re one hit away from dying.

yeah I agree actually, I think Hood is only heavy hitter cuz he's the only tank that isn't either undertuned (Tankpool) or countered by mag and Thing (everyone else)
