Sozial (Social) Vibey places around Mannheim
Are there any cool bars/restaurants in Mannheim/HD that would be fun for a group? Somewhere like a cocktail bar or gastropub, with good vibes and music.. maybe even dancing sometimes? Am I asking too much?

If you like dive bars that play alternative music Blau is really cool. I like the vibe there anyway 😇 kontra n, and kombinat are also alt bars, but you can get cocktails and stuff at them too.
Someone else already said Alter already, but that place is also cool. They have concerts of all types and events, and if you have kids they have a part where you can borrow toys or games for free.
There's Strandbar also. That is more of a cocktail type place. I've never been, but i hear great things.
If you like techno and dancing i could recommend Disco Zwei.
MS Connexion also has big events with lots of different stuff.

For dining in summer "torre da Angelo" in ludwigshafen. Best "guinotte" in the area and fantastic italian dishes.

Hafenbar takes place in Hafen49 sometimes. Besides that almost all Bars in Jungbusch might be what you are looking for.

Jost stroll through the Jungbusch neighborhood with your friends. It doesn't get more vibey than that. Plenty of bars, restaurants, a "scene", and sitting by the water of the port while listening to DJs playing next door.

Alter in Mannheim or Polychrome and villa Nachttanz in Heidelberg are wonderful places. Though they are less what you are looking for The other places that I have in mind are only accessible with an invite, but I'm more into the alternative/ electronic scene
