I heard that applications for the March intake were supposed to open on September 7, so I tried logging into the MAYA Portal to apply. However, I can only select Semester 1 courses, and there doesn’t seem to be an option for the March intake.
I’ve also tried calling UM’s admissions office, but I haven’t been able to get through.
Do I have to create a new account, or is it possible that UM just hasn’t added the March intake option to the portal yet?
If anyone has applied for or experienced application before, I’d really appreciate your help. Thank you!

Hi! I’m currently studying at APU and I’m about to finish my first year. I’m considering transferring to Monash University Malaysia, but I’m a bit confused about the whole transfer process.
Has anyone here transferred from APU to Monash, or knows someone I could contact who can actually guide me through the process?
I mainly want to know:
What the requirements are for transferring
How credit transfer works and whether I could enter directly into Year 2
What documents I would need from APU
Whether Monash assesses the subjects/modules individually for credit exemptions
Who I should contact at Monash to discuss my specific situation before applying

Hi, I’m an international student applying to study in Malaysia. I initially applied to two universities and started the visa application process with one of them before my final results were released. Unfortunately, I was later rejected by that university because my results did not meet their requirements.

I was then accepted by another university in Malaysia, so I have requested the cancellation of my visa application with the first university. They informed me around two weeks ago that the cancellation request had been sent to EMGS.

Does anyone know how long the cancellation usually takes? I’m quite worried because I’m hoping to join the October intake at my new university, and I’m currently waiting for the cancellation to be completed before I can proceed with my new student visa application.

Has anyone been in a similar situation, and were you able to make it in time for your intake?

🎮 What will you do? 

The playtest involves: 

🎮 Playing 10 short matches against an AI opponent in my Roblox prototype (turn-based grid strategy )

🤖 Interacting with the AI and its different decision-making behaviors 

📝 Completing a short feedback questionnaire afterward 

⏱️ Total time: approximately 20–30 minutes 

Your gameplay will be logged automatically for research purposes. 

🔍 What does the study evaluate? 

The study focuses on the AI opponent and player experience, including: 

• AI behavior and decision-making 

• Difficulty and fairness 

• Player experience when interacting with the opponent .

💻 Requirements 

You will need to: 

• Have access to a PC/laptop 

• Have a Roblox account 

• Have Discord 

• Have DuitNow QR / Touch ’n Go eWallet to receive compensation 

• Be able to complete all 10 matches and the questionnaire 

The Roblox prototype is currently private, so you will need to join the Roblox group in order to access the game.

While we’re talking to each other in a friend group, we’re talking about things happening recently in our area. And i talked about a news which a guy was killed by an accident, so I said we must live the best of our lives because you never know whether tomorrow or an accident will come first. Then a guy pulled out that sentence ☠️

I tot he’s a good guy in my class, I trust him a lot and it turns out I’m wrong. 🤡 worse part is I’ve told my best friend (not now anymore) about this and she said maybe he’s just kidding with me💀 bro?? And she still befriend with that guy till now ( it hurts me a lot although I know I don’t have the rights to interfere her friendship )

I studied in that chaotic class for 2 years and it’s like my dark history that I wished to wipe off from my memory. But if I think the positive side, they really give me motivation to study because I don’t wanna be like them. Besides that, the teachers in my class are really supportive. They let me study in the office because they know my class is really noisy even during exams, give me guidance a lot and sometimes they pity me (because I studied in a class where 95% of people don’t even care about their studies tbh)

This experience (there’s still a lot of things happened in my class too, just this experience particularly caused trauma for me) makes me afraid of trusting new friends and I’m afraid of getting into uni. I hope I won’t met this type of people in uni again please 🙏

hello everyone! im a filipino student and ill be getting my senior high school diploma around 2028. ive studied in malaysia as well for about 2 years but eventually i moved back to the philippines. since then, ive been having my eyes on universiti malaya since i believe the education system is way better compared to the system in the philippines.

Hi everyone! I’m a Malaysian student planning to apply for a bachelor’s degree in Japan for the 2027 intake, and I’m currently looking at English-taught programs, preferably International Relations, Political Science, Global Studies, or something similar.

My educational background is:
● SPM — education mainly in Bahasa Melayu
● 2-year Diploma in Communication at Taylor’s University Malaysia
● My Diploma was taught entirely in English
● I can obtain a Medium of Instruction (MOI) letter from my university
I’m having trouble finding universities where I can use my MOI instead of taking IELTS/TOEFL/Duolingo. Some universities seem to require the most recent 3 years of education to have been entirely in English, which I don’t meet because my Diploma was only 2 years and my SPM was in BM.

So I’m wondering:
1. Are there any universities in Japan that don’t require IELTS/TOEFL/Duolingo if I have an English-taught Diploma + MOI?
2. Are there universities that accept an MOI from a Malaysian university even if my secondary education wasn’t in English?
3. Are there any English-taught bachelor’s programs in Japan for International Relations / Political Science / Global Studies that have more flexible English requirements?
4. If you’ve personally applied to a Japanese university with a similar background, what university did you apply to and what did they accept?
I’m currently looking at APU, Ritsumeikan, Waseda, etc., but I’m open to other universities too.

I’m an international student considered to do Alevel journey in malaysia. The thing wht makes me hesitate is i don’t really know how’s the real life situation over there. Ppl say Taylor’s , Sunway‘s Alvl programmes r amazing. But how about MCKL or any other options?? For Mckl it’s fees r very relevant and comfortable but i‘m scared that there r lecturers changing with thin a school year. I’m also looking forward to A*/A success rate and the education focused environement without sacrificing the sense of college’s youthful life.
