Bumblebee, they did a bunch of interviews where they treated him like a cast member, I don't remember what show but he was "in the audience" enjoying the show (I think it was America's got talent), to this day they still air the generals insurance commercial with shac and bee, it's not even advertising the movie anymore he's just living in our universe apparently

I like how the General Insurance extended universe slowly expands.
By the end of the next decade I expect it to include Sephiroth and Captain Action.

I wonder if The General had the money to use Bumblebee and asking Hasbro nicely or if Hasbro lowballed the model because their last films severely underperformed.
And if bumblebee was real, he would obviously be in the hands of some big collector.

American Dad.
American Dad often refers to itself as an in universe TV Set. Each characters are actually roles played by actors. This includes Roger and Klaus, who are an Alien and talking goldfish.

It's hilarious to see, and frankly I don't know why it hasn't been done more lately aside from Project Hail Mary (unless I haven't been looking hard enough). Also, honourable mention to 1998 Godzilla/Zilla having his very own cast member chair with his name in the behind the scenes of the 1998 movie (or was it his own trailer? I don't remember).

A similar thing is I love how the animated members of Gorillaz are also treated as real. They do interviews, Murdoc got replaced for a bit because he was in prison. I think he actually did an interview from the cell at one point.

There was a mockumentary made for the Attack of the Clones DVD where R2 was treated as if he was an out of work actor who was turning his life around for the new trilogy of movies.

Pixar movies having bloopers in the credits despite the characters being animated
