u/CiDevant Dec 31 '25

There is this lady I know named Anna.

u/Krekken24 Dec 31 '25

I already talked to her, she has the early release version which is too un-formatted for me to understand.

u/North_Implement_8278 Dec 31 '25

Talk properly to anna, try using her filters properly.

u/Yrhens Dec 31 '25

u/henryassisrocha Dec 31 '25

If Anna gave it to me 3 days ago, I guess she'll give it to you as well if you ask it properly.

u/Ok_Procedure3350 Dec 31 '25

She has now all spotify songs lol

u/tls_god_1 Jan 18 '26

Thanks man ๐Ÿ™

This link is failing for me. Any other tips?

I'm willing to buy the book, if anyone knows where, I just want it as a PDF so that I can interact with it using an LLM. Online seems to only sell it as paperback or kindle.

Edit: Never mind. I found the link further below.

You are the goat

u/jrprongs422 Jul 05 '26

thank you so much

u/Substantial_Web9914 Dec 31 '25

Found it but it's the early release raw and unedited version

u/Atul505 Mar 26 '26

Thanks a lotย

u/eternal-lotus Jul 19 '26

It is not working Anymore!

u/Krekken24 Dec 31 '25

This is it guys - book

Thank you very much to everyone who replied and helped. I love you all.

Happy learning.

u/Repulsive-Tomorrow35 Dec 31 '25

I'm unable to download due to daily limits. Can you upload the pdf to a google drive and share the link.

Thanks in advance!

u/Krekken24 Dec 31 '25 edited Jan 01 '26

Here check the link

Lemme know if you accessed it or do I need to change something.

Edit - I have uploaded a full version which has about 1400 pages, the earlier one had around 800 pages.

Edit - Actually the 1400 one has some unformatted images, so for now I have uploaded both of them.

u/Serenity-Quest Dec 31 '25

The link has 878 pages. Could you please share the 1400 pages?

u/jesus359_ Dec 31 '25

Thank you!

u/DarkOmenXP Dec 31 '25

Looks like youโ€™ve shared it with restrictions (anyone who want to access it needs to request access individually) I have requested it, but could you share it so that anyone who has the link could open it? That way anyone could get the book

u/Krekken24 Dec 31 '25

Yeah, thanks. Just updated it.

u/Serenity-Quest Jan 01 '26

What's the difference between the 1400 pages and 878 pages? So far I see the content being the same?

u/username_is_alread- Jan 01 '26 edited Jan 01 '26

I think the contents themselves are the same, but the formatting is different; my best guess is that the 1423 pg one was converted from EPUB to PDF, whereas the 878 pg one is the native PDF version.

Some of the visual artifacts include the fact that certain images have been enlarged to fill the page but have not had the proper aspect ratio preserved; see Figure 1-2 in both PDFs to see the difference.

Also, the 878 pg version has these animal boxes to denote tips (a squirrel?), notes (bird), and warnings (scorpion); the 1423 pg one just has the words "TIP/NOTE/WARNING" in all-caps.

u/LedDisciple 12d ago

Good analysis. It looks like you're right. For anyone else looking for this book go for the 878 pages. I'm extremely grateful for all the redditors helping find this. Your efforts have helped another one.

u/tls_god_1 Jan 18 '26

Thanks man ๐Ÿ’ช

u/WhiteSkyRising Feb 17 '26

u/AssociateResident503 Jul 05 '26

u/Fuzzy-Individual-524 Jul 10 '26

u/[deleted] Jan 04 '26

Thank you very much! Do you have the epub version as well?

u/Dizzy_Fortune_2790 21d ago

really a legend, thanks man! ๐Ÿ˜„

u/le_theudas Dec 31 '25

It is an amazing book to get started with machine learning and worth every penny. I had the original tensorflow version when it came out and bought the new version with torch and new topics as well, would do it again 10/10

u/Wide-Opportunity-582 Dec 31 '25

Hey - Is this book great for beginners ?

u/Simple_Employee_2739 Dec 31 '25

Yes, definitely. I think it covers almost all the fundamentals you'll require to have a pretty strong foundation in DS & ML. But yes, it assumes you to be familiar with python and maths. And ofcourse, with any book or course, practice is important (both along with the book and from websites like kaggle).

u/Ok_Procedure3350 Dec 31 '25

Theres another python data science handbook

u/Sea-Fishing4699 Mar 01 '26

me too!!! happy learning

u/Ok_Candidate_5196 Dec 31 '25

Anna's archive

u/frvgmxntx Dec 31 '25

u/Krekken24 Dec 31 '25

Are you suggesting that I should crosspost this to that sub?

u/frvgmxntx Dec 31 '25

It's a famous site to download books without paying. The sub has info on how to access...

u/[deleted] Dec 31 '25

u/SithEmperorX Dec 31 '25

I really wish they could have gone with a better image for the cover ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿคฃ

u/mrsanitizer Dec 31 '25

Please let me know if you find it

u/[deleted] Dec 31 '25

Me too

u/SyntaxErrorSorcerer Dec 31 '25

I am reading the third edition of this book, which edition is this?ย

u/Krekken24 Dec 31 '25

I dont know the number but this one uses pytorch instead of tensorflow.

u/SithEmperorX Dec 31 '25

Third edition -> TensorFlow.

PyTorch only has the 1st edition.

u/FailedApotheosis Dec 31 '25

Didn't this book have a gecko on the cover? Or am I confusing it with a similar one?

u/Krekken24 Jan 01 '26

They are similar ofc. Actually the gecko one was implemented using tensorflow and this one is in pytorch.

u/FailedApotheosis Jan 01 '26

Yes I just remembered because I recently downloaded the gecko one and I just downloaded this one too lol

u/the__Twister Jan 01 '26

guys I have the 2023 version of this book, I got it printed.

can anyone tell me if that is still relevant in 2026

u/mcjon77 Jan 01 '26

I can tell you that it's still being used as a teaching resource in some graduate data science programs. The core principles are really sound. In fact, I often go back to that book as part of my prep tools for new data scientist position interviews.

u/Full-Ring4024 Apr 03 '26

if anyone wants pdf version(One with pytorch) Dm me

u/blitzkriegbop443 Jun 24 '26

Love this chat! such lovely and helpful people. Thankss !!

u/BeneficialNothing484 25d ago

Thank you op men๐Ÿ‘

u/em_Farhan 6d ago

If you're planning to read the book in .pdf, I would suggest to not do it. Get the print version and use it for reading. You might want to mark the terms, concepts out while reading. This technique will really help.

u/arun911 Dec 31 '25

Is this book good for a beginner in ML space?

u/Krekken24 Dec 31 '25

Yes very good
