What was it that made you love L4D but not B4B?
For me I liked B4B but L4Ds simplicity is why I kept coming back. All you literally have to do is load it up and play. If they EVER made a 3rd, I’d really love a customizable character option but honestly that’s all I’d ask for personally.

Modding L4D2 for blind accessability
Hello, I'm a legally blind gamer with extremely low vision. I just got questions regarding mods in l4d2 as I'm having trouble figuring out if they exist. Mods I'm looking for are changing the infected to solid bright colors for contrast, think the eye candy gobble gum from black ops 3 zombies. I'm also hoping to figure out if I could find a screen reader that uses text to speech to read out menu options as well as what I have highlighted that I can interact with in game. If anyone knows if mods like this are possible or already exist I would love to know.

Looking For Good Community Maps
Hello, I want to put this post out there because I've been playing Left 4 Dead since 2011 on the Xbox 360 I've been playing nothing but vanilla maps ever since and it's been a rare occasion on PC that I will play a community-based map the last map I did play was glub-tastic.
I think that's what the map is called and it was fun it was Goofy but it was not my cup of tea I'm more of the person that is looking for beloved Community Based maps kind of like Chernobyl or other real world events Matt bass or anything that is very creative that has the same amount of replayability as the vanilla maps.
Just something that me and my friends can enjoy something different and new besides the Vanilla maps.
Drop some maps below and I'll take a look!

After 3 days, I finally did it
https://reddit.com/link/1wacwj1/video/2r6hzt9zq7oh1/player
Not a great player and I do not have a long play time yet just surpassed my hundred hour during the 3 day session of just the last stand, but FINALLY I'm one step closer to getting all the achievements, this is one of the hardest achievements here (at least for me, dumb bots mollying themselves). Hopefully I can get all the achievements soon enough! (stares at nice guy nick)

My honest review of Dead center beta leak.
I will not include some stuff for the si because of the mod I added)
Chapter one: I for one loved how the hotel looked like it was used as a makeshift base/hospital. You could clearly see the vision, The hotel once a ceda setup base and med camp turned into a zombie infested hell hole. Going down to the first floor felt better than the main one only because I like how you had to jump onto an elevator after fighting the horde and having to go one more floor without the MAC-10
Chapter 2: the addition of the riot zombies could have played a huge factor in the base map for added depth like law enforcement tried to hold the evacuation point but failed, leading to the hotel getting overrun. The changing of the gun store to a gas station would be a cool idea to have, like if they made it so where cola man fortified the gas station up with the guns and ammo.
Chapter 3: it's alright...I didn't like it but I didn't hate it. I did like the fact that the service hallways had like power boxes and felt more like a backroom than the base map.
Chapter 4: I liked the layout of it. I could see a 4 player team holding out in the middle while the car fuels up. What I hated about it was the fact I thought I had to stand on the platform while it fueled up but I didn't have to.
Overall rating: I wish this map was actually the map we got and not the one we have/10!

Mouse controls switching back and forth from player 1 and player 2 on split screen. PC
Hello guys, I'm trying to get splitscreen running and for some reason when using splitscreen mods it makes it where depending on who uses the last input the mouse will redirect to them. For example if p2 uses the last input my mouse and keyboard would now be on p2 exc.
I'm aware that "split screen" is all console commands so that being said is there anything I can bind so p1 is mouse and keyboard and p2 is controller?
If its impossible its no big deal ill just use 2 controllers. Thanks for reading.

Is it possible to get all L4D achievements within 24 playtime hours?
I'm trying to see if I can get all 73 achievements in L4D within 24 playtime hours, so far I got 58 within 19 hours. On l4d2, I only got 69 out of 101 achievements cause I only play it with my brother nowadays.
Now I'm mainly asking if this is possible as there has to be at least one person who did this before me, right?
(this is not done solo, But with a group of 3 friends.)
Now

ODST Left 4 Dead (Mod "Alone" playthough in The Parish)
Honesty, the ODST HUD fits so well with "Alone" Mod horror elements as if your watching a Helmet footage from an ODST perspective, that's the vibe i am getting personally.
modlist: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails?id=3508583198 (213 mods in the list)
I am curios about you're opinions!
