Put a fresh edge on it, and oil the pivot.

Restore? It’s damn near brand new and it’s it THAT old, the 4th gen’s aren’t exactly ancient. The FRN is even clean.

I mean..there looks to be rust spots on blade..best way to clean up the steel.

If you feel strongly about it, buy some Flitz metal polish. Use it sparingly. Just put a tiny bit on a paper towel, rub it over both sides of the blade to leave a very thin layer, let it dry, then buff off. Repeat until your happy.

I'd scrub the blade, spine to edge, with a brass brush and then reassess.

Dependable. Never fails

Razor blade will take off the surface rust, after that just oil it & you’re good to go! Looks pretty clean still.

You can cut rust with a razor blade?

Wdym restore? What's broken that needs restoring? You mean the discoloration in the blade? Flitz polish.
