Did anyone else use the Jetboard during the boss fights in Jak II?

During my first playthrough of Jak II two months ago, I used the Jetboard for the boss fights. In particular, I used them during the Krew and Kor boss fights. I found the Jetboard to be very useful for avoiding the holograms and other such attacks in each fight, but I was curious if anyone did that.

I did mostly roll jumps to get distance.

Kor is considerably easier with the jetboard.

I always jumped on some geometry to exit the boss arena for some cheese.

I remember using it during the Krew fight a few times too, but I kept getting disoriented and falling off the platform, lol!

I never even thought to use the jetboard in any combat missions except “get the seal piece from slums” mission , dang all my life wtf

Punching did enough for distance for me as it was quick and controllable.
