YEEHAW!

u/dh2513 13h ago

Them Duke boys are at it again

u/MundaneEchidna5093 10h ago

She wanted to go out in style, but her car wouldn’t let her.
Thelma and Louise and the Duke boys would still be proud.

That is seriously real world impressive. (For the Lexus to be still that intact after something that.)

AFAIR, most of the General Lee's were absolutely totalled after the jumps they did on the show.

How bloody fast was this Lexus going to get that high airtime!?!??

#I want to see NHSTA yearly crash tests using this particular hill and model from now on!

u/nasal-polyps2 3h ago

Oh its still absolutely totaled

u/Mammoth-Neat-9836 3h ago

Lexus isn't intact according to her insurance adjuster.

u/lesschalkmoresighs 13h ago

Is the camera having an epileptic fit?

u/SlipperyGibbet 13h ago

Cameraman’s likely narrating but why we don’t get that I’d like to know

u/PharmaMailMover 13h ago

Honestly, that camera shake is almost as dramatic as the jump. looks like it needs a seatbelt too.

u/Commercial_Donut9528 46m ago

That camera definitely had a wild ride! It's crazy to think about how life-threatening that jump was while the footage was shaking all over the place.

u/Ok-Parking-8684 7h ago

😂😂😂

u/Lumpy_Past6216 13h ago

I'm just guessing here but I think for her to make that jump, with how long she drove on the grass and made it up that hill... she had to have cruise control on and was on her phone and something made her panic. IDK. Its pretty impressive and I kinda want to see the vid of it.

u/Muted_Dinner_1021 13h ago

If you watch longer the video is in the end...

u/Ammortalz 13h ago

It only shows the very end of the jump.

u/Muted_Dinner_1021 1h ago

Well if there were flock cameras.... xD no jk

u/Lumpy_Past6216 9h ago

I seen the whole vid. It doesnt show the beginning of how she got to where she was in the air. THAT is where I made a guess of how this might have went down.

u/Disastrous-Corgi-841 13h ago

All gas no brakes

u/OpalForHarmony 13h ago

Any sauce on this situation? Asleep at the wheel with cruise control on? A health episode? Looking into the abyss while having a death grip on the wheel?

u/Norxcal 13h ago

7/10 on that landig.

It landed on the wheels all though it swerved a bit.

u/SimbaNGrdKionNIMFan 13h ago

She stuck the landing.

u/Brilliant-Turn-4388 13h ago

So u telling me GTA has been lying all this time?

u/PsimaNji 13h ago

The rear landing first definitely saved her. Full seat support (ish) for the big hit. Nothing on the driver side front...very lucky

u/HideThe-Sun 13h ago

I've been telling everyone for years about Lexus superiority. Even a 20+ year old Lexus will be the best car you'll ever have. Also the safest.

u/SignificantJello6116 13h ago

How fast was she fucking going my god

u/bigorangemachine 13h ago

By my math... 60mph. At least by the time she started going up the hill.

u/Difficult_Memory_101 13h ago

Them duke boys

u/Local_Recover6701 13h ago

She found the biggest hill in Kansas

u/TrashTalking_Panda 13h ago

Redbull - gives you wings

u/the_vault-technician 13h ago

WAIT NO IT DOESN'T WHY AM I FALLING

u/applebabe1 13h ago

Those Duke boys are at it again!

u/redzedx77 13h ago

Her name was something Kneivel

u/Deliteriously 12h ago

As a mechanic, I tell people all the time that Lexuses are basically indestructible and built to last. This video goes a long way toward reinforcing my long held confirmation bias. 🤣

u/GeeToo40 11h ago

What's that gonna cost to get it repaired?

u/Substantial_Chain718 13h ago

The Duke Boys would keep driving after a jump like that.

u/SodomyClown 13h ago

This is a great ad for the car.

u/TakingItPeasy 13h ago

Wow dad, we must have jumped that rail by like 50 yards.

That's nothing to be proud of Russ!

Fifty yards!

u/Bag-o-chips 13h ago

Impressive she survived. I would have expected the car to tip forward in mid air. She had a rough landing.

u/Rare_Lock666 12h ago

I just imagine that moment when she realized she "fucked up"

u/James_Me_17 12h ago

Watched it until the end. Was not disappointed.

u/josephtheoriginal 13h ago

my back.... My BacK Is Broken.. . ThSPINAL

u/ivandoesnot 13h ago

Once rolled up on an identical one of these -- I saw this red flash, while sitting at a light, and thought I burst a blood vessel or something -- but she landed in a (dry) retention pond.

She didn't survive.

This woman was INCREDIBLY lucky.

u/wild_cherry1987 13h ago

I need a shekeup in life like that .

Me escaping the cops in Need For Speed

u/astor24 12h ago

GTA. Seen a few sweet jumps out and about, don’t have the balls to actually do it. Kudos to this lady.

u/ElGosso 12h ago

Drunk? Forced off the road? Or did she just let the intrusive thoughts win?

u/collegefootballfan69 11h ago

I want to see the video

u/htown-jon 11h ago

Possible defective accelerator pedal. Cars don’t have a cable anymore, all electronic accelerator.

u/Key-Fox3923 9h ago

I’m guessing she didn’t have lane holding…

u/Adorable__Gap4770 9h ago

I can fix her.

u/No_Computer213 9h ago

Huck to flat!

u/Dreboomboom 8h ago

Lol, that state trooper had me saying "Rosco P. Coltrane" 🤣🤣

u/Frequent_Addition_23 8h ago
