DIY Plumbing Main Shut Off
Small leak at the main line. I think at one of the unions. What's the best way to fix/replace it?

Go to Lowe's or whatever and buy the exact same part. I can hardly see what's leaking in this picture. If you're really unsure just call a plumber lol

I would try to eliminate as many of those fittings as I could. It looks like its all pvc until it gets to the copper. If it were mine, I would move my valve up to the copper, then I would only have 2 fittings below and a short pipe. But with the union, you may be able to tighten it a little more, or change the O-ring in it.

You will need a special tool to shut off the main. To replace the in-between that and the house shut off.
