Main reason I can't take Drake's post-beef victim raps serious is because he did the exact same things he accuses Kendrick of. First it was the whole "smh you lied about me" thing like he didn't do it first, and then he tried to treat Kendrick's Dr Dre association like some gotcha when he self admittedly worked with Dre in his early career too

Did you stop liking intricate rhyme schemes as you're getting older? For me definitely yes, to the point where I'd actually say most of the time it affects the listening experience in a negative way. Give me some basic shit said in a cool way anyday

I can’t even put my finger on what exactly makes something lame instead of great but it really depends. Modern Eminem is complete cringe but I’m still blown away by some of the rhymes on The Marshall Mathers LP

Hearing an intricate rhyme scheme and flow pocket is ear candy to me but there should definitely be a balance, that's why Wayne is my favorite rapper because he can have verses where he's rhyming like every word but there's still gonna be punchlines and funny shit in there

A few beats here and there, Fuel, Yah Yah and Chloraseptic off the top of my head. The latter two were kinda ass but at least he did On Fire on Recovery which was pretty great

Yeah Em really went in on that one but the beat is pretty mid to me. That's why I prefer most of Kamikaze to that song because Em was rapping just as good but the production was better

Pharrell’s production has me really interested in this Quavo collab album. Especially with not many releases catching my ear lately.

Avalanche, Kelly Price, Slippery, Highway 85, and Pronto are some of my favorite Migos tracks individually, but i’d also just play the first Culture album front to back it’s genuinely one of the best/influential rap albums of the 2010s

If you want to get into Quavo and Migos I’d start with Fight Night, Handsome and Versace. Also for just Quavo specifically I really like Bubblegum, his solo stuff doesn’t get enough credit imo
