Request Traditional songs?

Hello! I am not fluent in hebrew, and I only know a few words. I’m a singer, and I want to surprise my Israeli boyfriend by singing a traditional song for him in his language, Hebrew. Does anyone know an easy, beautiful, traditional song that he’s likely to have known? He only moved to the US four years ago, if that helps. The only thing, I need it to be “easy” to remember because I don’t speak Hebrew.

Extra points if its about love or romance!

Thank you all. I love learning more about your culture and language every day.

Arik Einstein, "Ani v'ata nesha ne et ha olam" (me and you will change the world)

Well known soft tune. The video has the Hebrew lyrics,English phonetic and translation.

If you mean traditional,as in religious Jewish , I don't know many,as I grew non religious. I can ,if you want, point you to culture staples, childhood songs etc.

I guess this 👆🏽is the best suggestion, but I have my favorite well established tunes, including A Walk to Caesarea or Who is it who desires life 😁

Erev shel shoshanim, and full transliterated lyrics here. First verse ends at 0:44.

ALSO: I cannot read your alphabet! I read and learn hebrew in the english alphabet.

search on lyricstranslate.com ! i would recommend "zemer nugeh" by the high windows, as it's a classic & it's pretty short, but there are many other hebrew songs that are romanized! wish u best of luck

A Ba Ni Bi would be a good giggle.
