No, that ain't Hebrew. As u/guymev said, this looks closer to an AI hallucination of Hebrew than the actual alphabet.

Thank god everyone else is saying gibberish, for a second I thought I had forgotten Hebrew.

u/bigaccountfrogs 2d ago

You can take the speaker out of the Hebrew but you can’t take the Hebrew out of the speaker

u/1000thusername 2d ago

Haha me too

u/efficient_duck 2d ago

Haha that was my exact thought for a moment as well

u/guymev native speaker 2d ago

Looks like Hebrew generated by AI

u/currymuttonpizza 2d ago

Well, some of those are letters

u/RightLaugh5115 2d ago

but if you look closely, they are drawn differently each time. I see like 4 or 5 different versions of each letter

u/1000thusername 2d ago

There’s the lamed that identifies as a yud. Then the o e that wishes it were khaf, the one that is secure in its lamed-hood, and the one that is dabbling in ambition to become a resh someday.

u/currymuttonpizza 2d ago

And the microscope

u/1000thusername 2d ago

Haha yeah now that you mention it!

Are they though? (<- intended as a humorous response, currymuttonpizza is correct) As a new (and struggling) Hebrew learner even I recognized this was gibberish straight off.

u/currymuttonpizza 2d ago

I'm in the same boat as you level-wise, but there are a few passable lameds and yuds here. I didn't say words, I said letters

u/ScholarOfFortune 2d ago

You are absolutely correct. The question was meant to be a joking response which worked in my head but not in the post. Edited to call that out.

And I apologize. Didn’t intend to call your knowledge into question.

At least half of them are

Thanks so much!!! Thats what google was also telling me that its ai gibberish. I just wanted to make sure! Thanks everyone!!! 🫶

I personally think they shouldnt print tshirts like these. They have the same vibe as wearing chinese characters on your shirt that you dont know the meaning.

u/roniza Native Hebrew Speaker 2d ago

Honestly please share where can I get this shirt it’s hilarious

u/lisanotmuch 2d ago

Why did she buy this? It looks like AI slop.

u/Aervanath Oleh Vatik 2d ago

So she bought it and then decided to look up what it meant? That is...not smart.

And I concur with the other comments, it seems like gibberish, probably AI.

u/lisanotmuch 2d ago

Thank goodness it's not a tattoo.

u/Aervanath Oleh Vatik 2d ago

That would be a normal day in this sub.

u/lisanotmuch 2d ago

Right? Not a tattoo this time.

u/Zealousideal-Mud6376 2d ago

Y'all know someone's gonna see this shirt and get it tattooed

u/p0stpar2mu2rus 2d ago

😆😆😆

u/itailu 2d ago

Sure here: gibberish gibberish, gibberish gibberish

u/Few-Customer-5810 2d ago

Why did she buy this if she doesn't read Hebrew? What did the seller say it meant?

u/KamtzaBarKamtza Hebrew Learner (Intermediate) 2d ago

Just curious: Why would she buy a shirt if she doesn't know what it says?

u/bigaccountfrogs 2d ago

Slopbrew

u/Ineharnia native speaker 2d ago

Really hurt my head trying to read this

u/1000thusername 2d ago

No, I can’t. But that’s because it’s a Hebrew-like font that bears no actual relationship to real Hebrew.

u/Affectionate-Long514 2d ago

AI generated slop. Not even Hebrew letters at all.

u/LordFugu 2d ago

Psychic damage

u/perpetualfloating 2d ago

AI generated or someone just had a stroke while writing it.

u/NewIdentity19 2d ago

Hebrew written by someone who does not speak or read Hebrew. The graphemes resemble Hebrew letters to some extent.

u/Weak-Doughnut5502 2d ago

Honestly, I've seen far worse imitation Hebrew.

I'd say that the letters substantially look like Hebrew letters.  They're just not quite right .

u/ChinaRider73-74 2d ago

This is a fake AI post. Who “buys a shirt on the internet” in a language they don’t know without any explanation of what it says from the seller?

u/millers_left_shoe Hebrew Learner (Beginner) 2d ago

Have you never seen an Eastern European grandma walking around in a shirt saying Straight outta fucks to give or something like that? Apparently a lot of people

u/LPLoRab 2d ago

I mean, generally women increasingly don’t give fucks as we age.

u/Reasonable_Access_90 2d ago

But the account is 6 years old.

u/Miriamathome 2d ago

You are vastly overestimating the common sense and intelligence of the general population.

u/MildKerfuffle 2d ago

Plenty of Christians will buy something that looks vaguely Jewish to “feel closer to Jesus” and all that crap, to be fair. If you look for Jewish stuff on Amazon you’ll find a lot of stuff aimed at Christians with that attitude.

It seems you posted a request for translation! To make this as easy for our users as possible, please include in a comment the context of your request. Where is the text you want translated from? (If it's on an object, where you did find the object, when was it made, who made it, etc.?) Why do you want it translated? Hebrew can be a very contextual language and accurate translations might not be directly word-for-word. Knowing this information can be important for an accurate translation.

I can’t even read it? What on earth??

u/Function_Unknown_Yet 2d ago

Gibberish that sorta matches some Hebrew letters. "Hebraic" randomness.

u/Numerous_Race5708 2d ago

Not Hebrew to me

u/Forsaken_Branch_2935 2d ago

It's whatever, it doesn't have any sense or meaning

u/How-I-Roll_2023 2d ago

I spent like a minute looking it’s junk.

u/leaving_the_tevah 2d ago

This feels like ragebait lol

u/itorogirl16 1d ago

I just had a stroke trying to read this.

u/iFaA83 1d ago

I'm Israeli, I read-write and speak Hebrew, this is not in Hebrew, even though the letters seem to be from the Hebrew alphabet.

u/Dirka1 22h ago

It says nothing at all

u/Downtown-Mechanic729 16h ago

It’s kind of a mish mash of letters? You literally can’t read this lol where is this from?

u/Crazy_Computer_8168 12h ago

My Google translator says "A dog that's a good friend." And then some gibberish on the bottom. I didn't recognize it.

u/No-Permission-9301 2d ago

Its completely ai gibberish in a few different fonts and shit completely good to wear for someone who dont want anything offensive, well, probably only a karen would get offended but no one cares about them
