"they're constantly threatening me!" -talking about a tiny island off their coast, which is also their biggest trade partner

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_the_largest_trading_partners_of_China One of, not the biggest outright. That goes to ASEAN as a partner.

We will go to war with west Taiwan and reunify them with their rightful democratic leaders.

Taiwan is an island.

The government of Taiwan is called "republic of China"

The republic of China is a US puppet state created by the losing faction in the Chinese civil war, which promptly genocided the natives upon arriving.

But pop off ig

I'm surprised why the US and PRC have not done more to make their own microchips, seems like a hug liability. The machinery is dutch too.

Americans almost invaded cuba because of the missiles and now want to invade it without them and talk childish stories about others, look at your belly first lol

Taiwan isn’t an impoverished dictatorship run by an unstable despot. It’s a developed democracy filled with productive industries, good educational institutions, and wealthy citizens. They make more money from peace than they ever could in war, and more importantly, the vast majority of voters there believe a conflict with China would be existential, and the political leadership they elect very much reflect this belief.

Are you really telling me they’re going to strike first? Is the coughing baby really going to strike the hydrogen bomb first?

then why don't you become a nation already, with your "stable democracy" and "good educational institution" and "wealthy citizen" and talk about "non-dictatorship DPP"?

yeah so your ideology isn't consistent at all. Or maybe it is. But its not honest. Because you just fully admitted it the same situation but the people in Cuba are poorer so its more moral to wage war and blockade on that country.

Which means there is no crime, atrocity, or vagrancy you wouldn't consider as long as its done with a veneer of "democracy".

All that aside...Taiwan isn't a country. Beijing says its not, Washington says its not. Even Taiwan itself proclaims itself not a country but as an extension of China itself. Which means the two rival branches of the KMT political party will eventually reunify into one whole country after 100 years.

your country killed childs why the people had listen to you?

u/ilpazzo12 1d ago

Not American. What you did here is called whataboutism.

u/Welin-Blessed 23h ago

It's called not being an hypocrite, don't criticize others for something you do worse

u/ilpazzo12 11h ago

Cool. You're assuming there's only Americans saying things. Like I said I'm not American. I'm Italian. The last time my country actually decided to invade something was in 1940, and we turned the government upside down in the meantime, quite literally. I'm assuming you wouldn't hold that against modern Italy, just as it would be unfair to hold Chang Kai Shek's actions against modern China?

So, here's a fun fact: I can criticise both. I can also criticise Putin's bullshit while at it. Not because of history, because I have a brain. The bay of pigs? Horrible. Xi wishing to annex Taiwan? Also horrible. Easy. There's a stark difference from what you did. What you did justifies the latter, as if it would somehow correct the former. Or, even more stupidly, say that because of the former, the latter is justified. Nonsense. For both the Cubans and Taiwanese, the crime is the same, and it looks the same: it is a foreign country invading their home. And it should never be allowed. You know what I'd call someone who condemns it in one case and looks the other way in another?

Im sure you are so angry with our side as well, i call it hypocrite I already said that.

Also saying that your country didn't invaded anyone... I remember a few countries invaded by NATO
