He literally showed it. Are you dense?

u/PrivetSnow 8h ago

Feel sorry for you. Cant be easy for you to navigate the internet. You also think the world is flat right?

u/Used-Drop8239 Jul 25 '26

Present some actual proof, then, instead of some vague shit that can be interpreted one way or the other. You just made a claim and went on pretending it's some definitive proof with no basis for doing so. How is this a "source" if neither you nor those disagreeing with you can say anything factual about it?

u/Sexynarwhal69 Jul 02 '26

Hahahaha every time. 'gib source, ruski bot'

'nooo not THAT source, reeeEeEeee'

u/ruiyanglol2 Jul 03 '26

Lmao i know right, people always get mindblown when 2 things can be true at the same time

(Ukraine trying to get Russians to surrender, and Ukraine doing bad things also)

u/Sexynarwhal69 Jul 03 '26

It needs to fit into their orc/elf narrative. Otherwise brain explodes

u/ruiyanglol2 Jul 03 '26

Quick. Press the report button!

u/Old_Visit_2707 Jul 02 '26

Just go and search, there is more than enough of it

u/PrivetSnow Jul 03 '26

"Trust me bro"

u/ruiyanglol2 Jul 03 '26

Sees proof. Press report for disinformation.

u/PrivetSnow Jul 03 '26

Well your "proof" is videos witch you cant tell who is who. If i show you a badly pixled UFO. You accept it as proof of alien life?

Too bad they don't value their own soldiers lives. Their president forcing them to force fight an unwinable war until he runs out of young men

u/PinguFella Jul 03 '26

Who's forcing who? Who put this situation upon them? Wasn't Ukrainian leadership who started this war - Kremlin could literally end it tomorrow by leaving...

You forget who's war this is or willingly choose to deny it...

u/trangenderman 3 day ban for trolling Jul 03 '26

Ukraine has videos of them kidnapping people to force them into the military lady

u/PinguFella Jul 03 '26

Ukraine wouldn't be mobilising anyone if russia wasn't invading and killing innocent people by the hundreds of thousands. Russia mobilise aswell and could end all of it, including the mobilisations in Ukraine, tomorrow by leaving the war and genocide that they started.

Telling Ukrainians to "just accept it" and not defend themselves is like telling someone being raped the same thing. The hells wrong with you?

Also, I'm flattered that you noticed the deliberate androgyny of my avatar. Still, I would prefer it if you didn't assume my gender. My pronouns are they/them, but you can call me Dr. Pingu - I didn't spend 7 years studying Quantum Computing to be referred in a manner reminiscent of a 1950s chauvinist.

u/trangenderman 3 day ban for trolling Jul 03 '26

Ukraine is losing. Not going to be many young Ukraine men left since their leader won't give up

u/Dmarian 7d ago

Yep, they have to defend their country. It's Rusia's fault

u/Ok_Situation_7081 Jul 03 '26

Is that why Russia has way more POW than Ukraine? Or why there's more videos out there of Ukrainians toying with soldiers before finally hitting/killing them?

u/SigmaBiotech87 Jul 03 '26

Have you seen UA POVs returning from RU captivity weighing half of what they used to?

u/LearingCenterAlumni Jul 02 '26

I have seen enough of this war that surrendering to a AFU drone does not mean they will allow it.

Heck even wounded soldier get struck by FPVs.

u/SpendApprehensive972 Jul 02 '26

This a brutal war which russia started. I doubt there are many Ukrainian troops that would feel very merciful knowing that russia targeted schools, hospitals and apartments ballistic missiles the day before.

u/LearingCenterAlumni Jul 02 '26

Oh indeed, both side are killing injured soldiers routinely. FPV operators are particularly shown no mercy when caught.

u/miklosokay 11d ago

That is because you see a ruskie panic and run into a bush and the gets droned anyway. And then another drone comes by and finish him off. However, that is not surrendering, and there is nothing wrong with hitting them again.

I've seen I don't know how many thousands of russians getting droned to death, and only remember one or two that could possibly be interpreted as being in the process of surrendering.

u/kolibruv Jul 02 '26

No, you are supposed to believe that post-sovjet shithole A is much more humane than post-sovjet shithole B.

Let us ignore the fact that thousands of easily findable ukrainian drone videos show executions of wounded and surrendering russian soldiers underlined with funny circus music.

u/Odd-Mulberry2821 Jul 02 '26

Actually surrendering to anything other than a person stood in front of you is a new thing.

For example, you can watch videos of Apache helicopters going after wounded taliban who are clearly not able to fight back. We never allowed them to surrender to anything other than a person stood in front of them

Western powers do this too.

What Ukraine is doing here is actually new and novel. P

u/r0nni3RO Jul 02 '26

meh, I spent past 4 years on all sorts of combatfootage and different subreddits of that kind, and I see where you are coming from, but, also, see how subjective and disingenuous your comment is ;)

u/kolibruv Jul 02 '26

Disingenious in what way? For stating facts? I also remember videos of Azov soldiers skullfucking the eye sockets of russian prisoners with their knifes in footage from Mariupol. Ukraine is right to defend itself from this invasion but that does not mean we should fool ourselves into believing that their armed forces are morally superior and do not commit tons of war crimes.

u/r0nni3RO Jul 02 '26

Well, yea, I've seen thousands of clips of russians doing horrible shit, therefore "I am RIGHT"

You see where this is going ? It's stupid.

Yea, I have seen way more clips of russians doing heinous crimes, than the other way around. No, I do not deny there is crap in ukraine side, especially with the "azov style" of people...

The disingenuous part was you suggesting ukrainians are kinda the same as russians, which I disagree with

u/kolibruv Jul 02 '26

How seriously you perceive these crimes depends on which propaganda bubble you’re trapped in. I don’t deny that, in absolute terms, the Russian side is committing more crimes, simply because they’re operating on foreign territory.

We really felt the value of the Ukrainians as allies when they blew up the Nord Stream pipeline and inflicted massive damage on Germany, one of their biggest supporters. They’ll pay for that as soon as the war is over.

u/Advanced-Ice-2552 Jul 02 '26

Since you mentioned this exact topic about Azov. Can you show the evidence, since this is a BS claim that only pro Russian chanels forced on Telegram without any video proof.

There were mistreating of Russian prisoners but not even close to what Russians where doing, and you don't need to talk about this "bubble" unless you can back up your claims with facts.

u/jamsucc Jul 02 '26

if i remember correctly “the videos” (or rather A video, disingenuous yet again as the other guy said) was actually featuring a child molestor or something alike abusing chaotic circumstances, caught and later dealt with later on. That video is quite old so i kinda see why you’ve brought this particular one as a gotcha bs

u/Totoques22 Jul 02 '26

Ukraine does not have the duty to shoulder and keep prisoners alive somewhere when they are still struggling to defend themselves from an invasion

u/Specific-Host606 Jul 02 '26

One of them was actually trying to be better and they got invaded by Russia.

u/LiberalusSrachnicus Banned - Cannot reply Jul 02 '26

You're talking nonsense.

u/PinguFella Jul 02 '26

Ukraine has a practical use for Russians - which is to use them as barter in the acquisition of Ukrainian lives which are valuable to Ukraine. The Kremlin just sends the Russians to the meatwaves. I am pro-UA, not gonna hide it. I can't help but feel bad for Russians though, they didn't ask for this.

u/smackred Jul 02 '26

Practical use as slaves probably. You talking total nonsense.

u/PinguFella Jul 02 '26 edited Jul 02 '26

Ukraine using Russians as instruments to saving more Ukrainian lives, and Russians using Russians as cannon-fodder... It doesn't even have to be a question of morality, just actors behaving in accordance to their own interests.

EDIT: Added context of what I was referring to to strawmanner.

u/tadeuska Jul 02 '26

You mean lives of soldiers on the Russian government side? No they don't. They don't even value lives of their own civilians. They shoot at their own people trying to get out of the country. The only reason they don't kill Russian POW is to get bodies for exchange. Even if often they pick up civilians, also babushkash, and push them off in POW exchanges. Besides, they all speak Russian. President of Ukraine is a Russian guy named Vladimir, same name as the Tzar of Russia. The Army Chief of Ukraine is a Russian guy, and his father was treated in a hospital in Moscow.

u/PinguFella Jul 02 '26

Turn off RT

u/KimchiLlama Jul 02 '26

u/OldManJim374 Jul 02 '26

I see the Russian bots are out in full force today

u/Brusion Jul 02 '26

It's insane. So many bots for this one post. Means russia really doesn't like these surrender instructions.

u/Szcz137 Jul 02 '26

It's hard for me to differentiate between russian bots and really liberal leftists on the internet. As a half russian reading some of these comments and majority of them are nonsense, but there's so many of them.

u/Troll-Aficionado Jul 02 '26

fyi the types of "really liberal leftists" you see carrying water for Russia aren't liberal, they're anti-liberal as in tankies etc. Especially in online spaces.

Unless it's someone who just doesn't understand why in an invasion both sides don't carry the same responsibility for ending the conflict, like that quote of "if Russia stops fighting, there's no war in Ukraine. If Ukraine stops fighting, there's no Ukraine" wouldn't make sense to them since they'd just go "but.. both of them are fighting, so why don't they just stop fighting?"

u/Szcz137 Jul 02 '26

Yeah, I know. For me it's not even being left or right, but straight up not understanding how world in general and this exact conflict "work", and not trying to understand it period.

u/nar_tapio_00 Jul 08 '26

The "really liberal leftists" are Stalin's famous "useful idiots". Please call them communists or "tankies" because that's what they really are and it should help people who know the history of Soviet Russia and China to understand the danger.

u/DontHitDaddy Red Jul 02 '26

This is the way! Instead of all those inhumane fucking drone killing and torturing of humiliated soldiers. Everyone deserves to live.

This is really amazing

u/Economy-Effort3445 Jul 02 '26 edited Jul 02 '26

And Russian drones are killing all Russians trying to surrender

"the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine published verified drone footage showing a Russian soldier who had laid down his arms and was actively signaling his surrender to Ukrainian troops. Before the Ukrainians could extract him, a Russian First-Person View (FPV) drone tracked him down and dropped an explosive device directly on him, killing him instantly to prevent his capture."

"Mykhailo Fedorov, Ukraine’s defense minister, and Ukrainian drone operators have reported multiple incidents where Russian soldiers attempting to follow Ukrainian drone signals to safety were subsequently shelled by their own artillery or hunted by Russian drone operators. Independent defense outlets, such as Militarnyi, confirm this has become a recurring tactic by Russian commanders to deter defections through fear."

Rule 6: No disinformation

u/KatInThighHighs Jul 02 '26

There’s no evidence at that, it’s most likely Ukrainian drones whose operators aren’t aware the Russian is surrendering. These different drone teams do not always have communications with each other 24/7

u/LearingCenterAlumni Jul 02 '26

You think Ukraine doesn't have barriers units that will happily kill their own if they are caught surrendering?

u/Handgun_Hero Jul 02 '26

They don't, and Ukraine has directly given orders to surrender before to units who did not want to, such as happened to the Azov Brigade during the Razing of Mariupol who were directly ordered to surrender by senior command and not their own unit commanders who were willing to continue fighting and had very good entrenched positions within the Azovstal steel plant at the time.

u/LearingCenterAlumni Jul 02 '26

Lol they absolutely do have barrier units, we saw them get targeted by retreating AFU soldiers during the failed summer offensive.

u/Handgun_Hero Jul 02 '26

If Ukraine employed barrier troops Ukraine literally wouldn't have a military by now because between November 2022 until April this year they've been continuously making withdrawals from positions. During the summer offensive those weren't barrier troops, that was bad field leadership and battlefield chaos turning into friendly fire which is not the same thing as barrier troops.

Even the number of barrier troops Russia has employed in the war has largely been exaggerated minus their usage against PMCs and penal troops in Bakhmut, Vuhledar and Avdiivka and the fact that the Duma has openly stated they're using them proudly.

u/LearingCenterAlumni Jul 02 '26

There's footage of the AFU using English speaking foreign volunteers for that purpose.

u/Handgun_Hero Jul 02 '26

The claim has widely been disproven and is part of organised Russian misinformation.

u/LearingCenterAlumni Jul 02 '26

Russians hiring English speaking soldiers to have them shot on film by retreating soldiers?

I also remember that western media was saying all sorts of lies about the Russians in the last few years.

Remember them running out of bullets and having fights with shovels, or the claims of Russian cannibalism?

u/Handgun_Hero Jul 02 '26

Russian production did fail to keep up with ammunition demand and they had a shortage. They fixed said shortage by lifting embargoes on North Korea and purchasing ammo stocks from North Korea, as well as from Iran, but it had a very real effect on the ground in the short term predominantly in that it stalled Russia in its advance on Bakhmut and Avdiivka. Russia also reduced the demand on ammunition - particularly artillery shells - by following Ukraine's lead and adopting its own dedicated drone corps and supplanting artillery usage with drones. You will notice nobody talks about the artillery disparity anywhere near as much (during 2022-2024 Russia consistently outgunned Ukraine 5:1 on artillery) and that's because Russia adapted to use less of it amidst the ammunition shortage. Russia reduced its ammo consumption and stopped obliterating grid sectors as liberally but this also in turn reduced their rate of land seizures!

The claims of Russian cannibalism haven't been substantiated and were propaganda.

u/GWahazar Jul 02 '26

u/333ccc333 Jul 02 '26

Honestly pretty good coming right after mobilization campaign. Maybe many will get the right idea. Unfortunately deserters are treated quite bad probably in both armies.

u/RipvanHahl Jul 02 '26

"just surrender to us" a real classic of battlefield propaganda. Never gets old.

Do the russians have something similar?

u/Man_under_Bridge420 Jul 02 '26

American gi go home

u/Huge-Cartoonist6795 Jul 02 '26

The Russians rape their prisoners and torture them to death then send the bodies back stuffed with explosives.

The Ukrainians give them McDonald's.

So no the Russians don't have anything similar.

u/Old_Visit_2707 Jul 02 '26

Sad that you really belive it

u/Huge-Cartoonist6795 Jul 02 '26

Oh well. Fuck the ruskies.

u/smackred Jul 02 '26

In USA it's the same but you keep your mouth shut that way, don't you?

u/PinguFella Jul 02 '26

"Awww - why pick on me? How come the Americans are allowed to murder and pillage but we can't? That's not fair!"

u/MastermindX Jul 02 '26

America did accidentally bomb a school in Iran. But russia has bombed on purpose literally THOUSANDS of schools, hospitals, apartment buildings, and parks in Ukraine, not to mention systematic torture of ALL prisoners. Probably most countries in the world have committed war crimes at some point through history, but none at the level and scale of russia. No comparison or whatabautism is possible, you're in a league of your own.

u/Bon3rBitingBastard Jul 02 '26 edited Jul 02 '26

Not really. The US definitely set the stage for all this in 2003 and refused to hold people accountable, but the scale is clearly different. Journalists freely roamed American occupied Iraq to document everything, local journalists as well as orginazations that formed specifically to monitor the deaths. People who even attempt this in the occupied Ukrainian territories are hunted and killed by the Russian army.

Do that and then you’ll get killed by a different Ukrainian drone team since they lack comms with one another sometimes. They’ll get confused and just see another dumbass Russian wandering in a field. There is footage of that happening on both sides.

u/HerryKun Jul 02 '26

Better getting maybe killed while surrendering than for sure killed while trying to fight

u/grafknives Jul 02 '26

The biggest problem with this surrender is the depth of kill zone.

As there are sometimes many many km of kill zone, UA cannot risk that surrendering soldier will be walking to UA location for hours. That would be an actual attractive way of infiltration.

Sure, it would be a war crime, a perfidy. But that would be nothing new.

Also, you cannot really surrender to strike FPV.

u/Brusion Jul 02 '26

u/Annual-Sound-6793 8h ago

I’ve seen a lot of videos of Ukrainian drones killing Russians that are very obviously trying to surrender. And the Ukrainian position was “drones can’t take prisoners”. So this might be a new tactic, but surrendering to drones was for sure a death sentence for 3 years

u/Funfundfunfcig Jul 02 '26

Choose a life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a fucking big television. Choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players and electrical tin openers... Choose DSY and wondering who the fuck you are on a Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing, spirit crushing game shows, stucking junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away in the end of it all, pishing your last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, fucked up brats you spawned to replace yourself, choose your future.

Don't choose fucking trillionare who wouldn't piss on you if you were on fire.

u/cooolcooolio Jul 02 '26

Or you become minced meat when the drone slams into with an AT mine attached to it. I support Ukraine 100% in this but there are plenty of videos with Russians surrendering to a drone and the drone blows them up.

If the ruskies survive and actually gets captured they'll be traded in a prisoner exchange and sent straight back to the front. They're fucked no matter what once they get spotted. They're also told the Ukrainians will torture them which is why a lot of Russians have chosen to blow their brains out instead of being captured.

All this suffering because one man needs to wage war against others in order to keep his position in power...

u/elPloV 26d ago

Please share your proofs

u/Smart-Definition8753 Jul 02 '26

You've just sent me video of Russian drones killing Russian, mate

u/KatInThighHighs Jul 02 '26

There’s zero evidence of that, you cannot tell a drone’s nationality from the footage. Ukrainians also lie, everyone lies. Most of those videos show Ukrainian drones that believe the surrendering Russian is just another idiot walking through a field.

Besides, there are so many videos of Ukrainians killing POWs. Also a lot of videos of Russians doing the same to Ukrainians. This war just gave thousands of psychopaths to do whatever they want.

u/Smart-Definition8753 Jul 02 '26

I see, so no proof of your words. I got it. Just an idea from the skies

u/Smart-Definition8753 Jul 02 '26

Your proof is "Believe me, bro"

u/PinguFella Jul 02 '26

Besides, there are so many videos of Ukrainians killing POWs. Also a lot of videos of Russians doing the same to Ukrainians. This war just gave thousands of psychopaths to do whatever they want.

That's an exaggeration. Iirc, there were a isolated incidents towards the start of the war that ended up getting international attention and scrutiny. Mil heads expressed specifically against it but because of the more independent group nature of the structure (rather than everything being micromanaged centrally like how Russia does), it means smaller groups act in their own isolation, and couple (very few) had been known to have done this sort of thing in those very early days.

There were massive inquiries and Ukraine heads had to make arrests, charge people, and shut that shit down.

Think about it from a point of "interests" though... Ukraine values living Rus soldiers because they represent a source of intelligence, and they represent a bartering chip (to acquire UA prisoners from russia for example). If UA groups start committing war crimes, it means support from the greater western community starts to waver because then public support will wane over it thus pressuring politicians in supporting countries to not express they own support (even if they do have other interests in this fight). It makes absolutely 0 sense for Ukraine to consider any war crime a good idea - even if some actual bad actors on Ukraine's side had committed these things in isolation (and very low numbers I might add...).

In contrast, Russia has no such restraints holding them back. All they have is the furthering of Putin's power and he'll commit all the war crimes against Russians themselves in order to hold onto his power and his conquest for immortality. He's basically fucking voldemort...

And right back at you. You don't have masses of video evidence for the execution of russian POWs by Ukrainians because it doesn't exist, and Ukraine's survival depends (depended?) on the international community. In contrast, the amount of beheading videos from Russia is beyond sickening - rather than something that could cause them any further international pariah status more than they already are, the Kremlin actively supports these measures in order to terrorise the Ukrainian population into capitulation.

u/Sam13337 Jul 02 '26

„There is so many videos“ but you dont link a single one of them.

u/InterestingSun6707 Jul 02 '26

I mean all the videos showing them mercing people regardless kinda causes doubt

u/KPSWZG Jul 02 '26

I have seen several such videos. they are longer than the kill videos because guiding them to UA solders take more time than just blowing them up

Staged as fuck. Acting is atrocious

u/disaster_incomin Jul 02 '26

Alright, there are many others but I feel like you won't believe any, I'm not going back and forth. It's really just one google search for Russian soldiers surrendering to drones, you can do it

I can say the same for videos of attacking injured or unarmed soldiers. Stop with the hypocrisy

u/disaster_incomin Jul 02 '26

I'm not denying these videos exist and I don't think they are staged, there is no hypocrisy

You guys are impossible to satisfy

u/koknesis Jul 02 '26

Lol, what a douche

this took me a 10 second search on reddit:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Cyberpunk/s/6B626pLveI

https://www.reddit.com/r/ukraine/s/jqSCP0aoz2

There are plenty others - this just the first three I copied

edit: just checked your comment history. that explains it. of course a brainwashed vatnik would be skeptical :)

u/PinguFella Jul 02 '26

Hey, are you okay my guy? I saw the rest of the comments and you know the Kremlin just wants you to believe that right?

u/Aldo_Fitor Banned - Cannot reply Jul 02 '26

I live in this fucking hell. And i see it with my own eyes

u/PinguFella Jul 02 '26

You are a Russian soldier?

u/Aldo_Fitor Banned - Cannot reply Jul 02 '26

I transfer volunteer aid and humanitarian support for civilians near the war zone

u/PinguFella Jul 02 '26

Oh that's cool - where abouts? Donetsk? Rostov-on-Don?

u/Aldo_Fitor Banned - Cannot reply Jul 02 '26

Mostly Donetsk. Makeevka region

u/PinguFella Jul 02 '26

That's good of you. You're a good person, I can see that.

I'm not going to pretend like I'm not on the other side - I'm very much on the side of innocent people as I imagine you are, whether they are innocent Russians or Ukrainians, but insofar as the war goes, this is Putin's war. So as much as my heart goes out to Russians who have been forced into the situation, and as much as I lament and hate it in the rare occasions that Ukrainians do act dishonourably, I understand why Ukrainians act the way they do. I see it as Putin forcing the Ukrainians into a situation where they feel they have little other choice than to engage in the horrors of war.

That's not something I hold against Russian people though. A lot of my side are angry with all Russians, and I understand why, I don't blame them, but I could never hate ordinary Russians myself who just want to live normal lives. And then sometimes you'll get really amazing people who do things like stand up to Putin at risk to themselves, or help save peoples lives near the front like you're doing.

I think what you are doing is really cool dude. But I won't hide from you what I think about the situation. Your leaders are lying to you. The Ukrainians are angry and most of the westerners are idiots or in it cause they can get something out of it.

Keep helping with humanitarian aid - that's the right thing to do. Don't let them trick you though bro. In another timeline we should have been friends.
