training technique New to freediving

Hey! I’m totally new to free diving and I had questions.. I’m 17 and got into free diving because of a college p-e free diving class and now I’m super interested in getting better but I had some serious questions..Is 2min 1sec good as a record time on dry land? And is a CO table a good way to increase that number?

A 2:01 static breath hold for a beginner is already a very good starting place to be. I would recommend enrolling in a freediving certification course like Molchanovs W1 - 3 so you can have a better understanding of the benefits and risks of apnea on your body. 👌

Good job! Keep going at it. 💯

If you haven’t done it, wet your face with cold water and your time should increase immediately. Tables work fine I guess but generally torturing yourself holding breath repeatedly will do

Super cool you had a freediving class at college!

How long was it?
