Best Brand for a Futon?
I'm sure this has been asked a million times here and yes I will go look at older posts, but I wanted some fresh insight too. I was considering the Zonli 4 inch futon until I realized it has a polyester fill. I've heard J Life International has a tendency to get lumpy and is basically a cheap imitation. Without actually buying from a true Japanese artisan, IS there even a good brand that won't break the bank but also isn't polyester?

Futon Beds From Japan.

That one seems to be the gold standard! Was hoping to spend a bit less but don't want to cost myself more in the long run if the cheaper option ends up not being good. My current fully Western mattress SUCKS and we're not sleeping well. Lots of people seem happy with their Zonlis but I'm stuck wondering if we save up our money for a Futon Beds from Japan mattress or if we just attempt to rescue ourselves immediately with a Zonli haha.

Scroll down a few posts! Someone here has a slightly used one available for a steal on eBay. Still available last I looked last night!
Otherwise, Zonli is perfectly fine to start with.

I got my futon from futon tokyo almost 2 weeks ago. I paid $1005 usd for a queen sized futon and tatami mat. That total amount is with tax and shipping. I live in Canada so the shipping cost might be a bit different. I also had to pay around $110 cad when I got my package. From ordering to getting it delivered was around 3 weeks.

I love my Futon Tokyo futon. I purchased from them because I specifically wanted one that's pesticide-free
