Question Signed Flash ring by Grant Gustin
Has anyone received any further updates regarding the signed flash ring?

Misc Linda was so perfect, Barry sold HARD and decided to hop back onto his sister
Iris was selfish. She didn't want Barry (she did but it was heavily suppressed after barry went back to the time). But she didn't want him with anyone else either, a homegirl like that is toxic and controlling af. If Barry wasn't so stuck on his sister who's happily in a relationship with someone and locked in jesus man.
I get it it's destiny and shi barry and iris stuff, but damn at least give Linda a bit more time yk? plus Iris didn't even realise barry liked him until he confessed when it's been pretty obvious since they were kids. She rejected him and now says you don't match with Linda? Chill he ain't your mans
Linda was fun in every way that Iris wasn't Plus Iris had a WHOLE MAN and flirted with Barry in front eddie and barry's date. I sided with eddie for the most of this show, A girl having a male best friend is rough, Iris didn't deserve someone like Eddie.
If i was Barry i ain't never letting Linda walk away. she was so confident and forward and just refreshing compared to Iris and her bs.
Plus Linda bad asf
alr that's my rant
And btw this is my 5th rewatch up to s1ep16 its been about 3 years since my last rewatch so maybe i've forget about any future events or so. (the less common ones)
Could be that i'm just crushing On linda's actress idk. hope my points are somewhat valid

Shitpost Hot take: Barry should have died at the end of Crisis on Infinite Earths, like in the comics, and be replaced by Wally
Oc for this to work the writers had to write Wally an interesting character, and not what we saw, but if the Crisis was planned from the beginning, or from at least 2015, they had time to write him a character, but we now, that this is to much to ask for. Another point is that after Crisis, they really had nothing to do with Barry's charcter, so the writers just made episodes about the terrible side characters. And this show had a negative effect on the opinion of Wally in the mind of the general audience.

Schwaypost The episode where Barry let Thawne kill his mother should’ve been the last episode.
That episode was perfection. Barry finally coming to terms with her death and it would be a full circle moment.
Edit: I’m talking about S9 E10 A New World, Part One.

🤔 Thinking Harry was actually wrong about the combinations of the keypad in season 3
Harry said there are 90,000 possible combinations with a 5 digit code. Actually there are 100,000 because 10^5 = 100,000

Question Why did they make iris so unlikeable?
Like it seemed like the writers were genuinely trying to make us hate her for some reason but idk why. I actually liked her in season 1

🤔 Thinking I created a new hero. What should we call him?

🤔 Thinking Hot take: Eddie being ressurected by the negative speed force could have worked if written better
I liked the idea of the negative speed force replacing Eobard as its avatar by corrupting Eddie Thawne and tricking his mind into thinking his sacrifice meant nothing. I just think it was poorly written because of the final fight, it should have been WAYY MORE EMOTIONAL and wayy more intense. It really should have been Barry facing all those villains by himself

Shitpost My headcanon: Barry actually did die in crisis and the rest of the show is just Iris hallucinating

Shitpost Julian being a hypocrite
For someone who said he loves Caitlin he was dogging on Cisco for not shooting and potentially killing her twice.

🤔 Thinking Why are the first three seasons considered the best
when i watched the earlier seasons with savitar zoom and reverse flash barrys not faster then them. And the resolution wasent him becoming faster (although it was a plot point across all three seasons it wasent the ending. Even with zoom he didn't win because he became faster) in all three Barry won because he was smarter. Even when going into the future Barry says along the lines that wally is faster than him. So across most of the speedsters Barry's not faster he's just smarter. And I think that's why people like the first three seasons. And why the later ones are worse

Misc Watching Lanterns currently and I just had the weirdest urge to appreciate my fav on-screen Flash outfit. The grittiness and realism of the outfit make them go so well together. Straight out of the Golden Age comics.
Yeah I know it was technically not Flash, but Zoom/Hunter Zolomon impersonating Jay Garrick. But it had one of the cleanest and most elegant look of Flash. Like straight from the golden age era, except he rocked it so well and the outfit just looked realistic without looking too hokey. I was thinking these two would've gone so well together if they were from the same universe.

Shitpost Call me crazy, but I would've like the idea of dual-metas.

Question Phoebe Dynevor as Iris West. This is a perfect casting for her in the DCU. A faithful and true adaptation to the character. She looks she based on her comic appearance.

🤔 Thinking The cure
I don't like how the show handled the cure plotline, they reduced it to a courtroom battle and even before that they made a big deal about using it with consent with ( kingshark , cicada and his daughter). You could tell that writers were biased from the start, they had already decided that forcing the cure even on criminals is abad thing instead of letting the viewers decide, it could be their chance to create their version of the sokovia accords which could have been better since it being on a 20+ tv show would allow it to tell the story more broadly i.e show the reasoning behind each side. Think of the possibilities if it was done well, it would have been a good replacement for the cicada storyline and it would have been a literal battle of ideologies leaving no room for plot holes because in this fight flash's speed can't save the day. Imagine this for a second after Barry's fight with Devoe it leads to a mass casualty event ,the public has had it with metahuman just then mercury labs develops the cure which leads to creation of a movement that wants to give every metahuman the cure and its growing filled with people who lost their loved ones in the hands of metas ,Barry attempt to get through to them as the flash backfires when conversation of Barry that clearly suggest that he had something to do with the blackhole that killed a lot of people in central city and also that he changed the timeline to save his family and in the process affected everyone else's life in ways that they will never know which changes the publics perception of the Flash .In this season Barry comes to the realization of how powerful he is and how he can affect the lives of others in seconds he is in a constant conflict with himself whether one should have this much power which causes him to stop being the flash after finding out one of his teammate was the one who leaked his conversation this leads to the split of team flash as some members aren't against the cure.........
Sorry i got carried away but you get the point.
