Huzzah. I am very fond of Elm. No other frontend language scratches the itch the same. Can't wait to see what Acadia is about and how it will plugin with Elm and Haskell.

Maybe, but it’ll take a few years of consistent growth and responsiveness to the community to restore faith when there are so many people who will respond to any conversation about elm by pointing out how long it went without an update and related complaints about BDFL culture when the leader is largely absent from public facing conversation.

I never picked up Elm because it seemed to be "getting nowhere". 1.0 is an important psychological milestone and will help fence-sitters like me a lot!

Well, just a couple of fixes and no new features that would actually improve development. If you're looking for Elm replacement, I recommend Mint: https://mint-lang.com/ (I am not affiliated etc.)
