The cardio you get at Red Rocks is unmatched.

Even as a spectator fr

We had to go every Monday in the summer and fall for high school basketball. Don’t miss that at all

It’s already bad usually, but your coach screaming at you makes it so much worse

Were you the fastest on the team?

Was this open to the public? I love biking there from South Denver. Would be so cool to see them there.

Judging from the spectators in the pics, most probably was. Though I don’t think they often train there considering this is the first post they make about it

They do train here a couple times a year, and it's a public place, so us common folk are there too. It's like an initiation/welcome to Colorado workout that they do every preseason for everyone, especially the new guys.

Is that Hunter Tyson in the last pic

DaRon lookin JACKED. We need to give the young guys the chance to develop

How much weight is on the vests? 12 pounds?

u/Per_Aspera_Ad_Astra 2d ago

Typically not good for tendons and ligaments to run with heavy weight. 12lbs is plenty if you’re sprinting

it's so funny looking how much bigger CBs calves are compared to his arms. Huge ass calves for such a lean dude lol

Big buddy and little buddy — both former fat kids?

u/Chiefgottapiss 2d ago

Yeah that would make sense. The fatties always have those thick limbs

Get these guys trail running 14ers. They'll never get tired playing basketball and can make up for depth issues running other teams into the ground.

Good way for the whole bench to have sprained ankles

Not to toot my own horn, but I'm one of the strongest hikers I know. I can put down 6:42 miles as well. And there's still no way I'm trail running at 6'2" 225. That's just too much mass for that level of aerobic conditioning.

Aint no goddamn way you're getting a 6'6"+ 240+ PF to trail run a 14er, lmaoooo

If they're really doing this, this is money, this is serious training. I'm proud of the Nuggets. Please hydrate a lot. Once again, go Nugget, yes.

They do it yearly! Always fun to see the posts

This shit does not help the fly in and out of Denver on B2B schedule the NBA likes to throw our way now

Couple of dem boys look a little to happy to be here. Time to lock the f in. I guarantee you Braun has heard the noise and is going to respond.. but Holmes and Diallo need to lock in and provide the most energy youve seen since Balkman like there has to be a different vibe about this team this year. Need less passengers and more leaders.
