So. Im brand new and almost done with my 1st playthrough. The only time ive used humanity is to kindle. Im hollow like 99% of the time... is that bad lol

You're not hollow. You're undead. Victim of the undead curse and branded by the darksign. Humans start to become undead when the first flame starts to wane. The undead are cast out and exiled from human society. "Corralled and led the the north to the undead asylum."

Every time you die, you lose humanity and get closer to being hollow. You can reverse the hollowing by consuming humanity. You're still undead, though. All the undead will eventually become hollow unless someone links the first flame.

The hollow are mindless and have lost their soul. Don't you dare go hollow.

Oh got it. Im trying to follow the story. Its not super clear. But im loving it. Stuck on Four kings now.
