Discussion Dog-lovin’ writers, assemble!

I volunteer at Atlanta, Ga municipal animal shelters and create social media posts to highlight the adoptable dogs.

Turns out, good writing is perhaps the most effective way to get dogs seen and saved. This is a gigantic need right now, in the midst of an unprecedented overpopulation crisis. Your shelters need you!!!!

If you happen to live in Atlanta and would like more information please let me know, I would so love to have more writers involved ✍️🩷🐾

Oh hooray, bless you!!!!! You can probably do this for AHS as well, but I work with LifeLine Fulton County because it’s an open intake shelter with weekly euthanasia lists. You can sign up to volunteerHERE

What I like to do is go and walk several dogs, take photos, then go home and post to social media (Facebook neighborhood groups are particularly good places).

She was adopted in less than 24 hours by someone who saw my post!
